I'd have rather bought Photo and Designer from Affinity but I can't recall if I was unaware of their webstore or if it even existed.

I believe that the Affinity Store has sold the Mac versions only since September, 2018, or so. Prior to that the Affinity Store had only the Windows versions, and the Mac versions were available only from the Mac Store.

When I looked in Gmail, the publisher release email was hiding under the promotions tab. If you haven't received the email yet, and use a gmail account, you might want to check there.

Hey =)

Have not got an e-mail yet but it's nice to know that the release is near!

I guess even without that e-mail I will be able to buy the release Version in a few weeks?

Do you love public transit and transit maps too? Then have a look at my home-made collection of transit maps under www.instagram.com/transitdiagrams or www.twitter.com/chrissmere :1_grinning:

The decision was made for the personas to be active only in the purchased version of Affinity Publisher, when the Purchased versions of Affinity Designer 1.7.x and/or Affinity Photo 1.7.x have been installed (and run). [These Personas will therefore not appear in the free Public beta, but may function in the later customer betas.]

If you want to wait intil there is a trial of Affinity Publisher you will be able to test these personas (IF you have purchased the relevant sister application that enables the button)

I previously purchased Designer and Photo from Microsoft store. If I now will purchase Publisher from Affinity Store, will it recognize "sandboxed" versions of Designer and Photo from MS store? Or have I wait and purchase Publisher from MS store? Or is there a way to migrate my Designer and Photo from MS store to Affinity store?

me too

Me too, but no problem. But frankly I doubt, that all bugs will be eliminated in three weeks. There are some edges to be worked on to deliver a solid competitor to ID or QXP (if this is the focus). I am quite happy so far with the Betas, good work, so take your time.

I received the mail now, but I cannot redeem the code, I get an error message in the browser, telling me " Das Zahlungslimit des von Ihnen eingegebenen Gutscheincodes ist überschritten" (The payment limit of the voucher code you entered has been exceeded). What can  I do?

didnt get the email offer sent to me - is there a link?

Did you sign up for the Affinity Publisher beta at https://affinity.serif.com/publisher before Sunday? (not just found it on the forums)

  • Some emails are yet to go out, but I see no Affinity Store account for your email address, so perhaps you used another address to sign up

Did you search your Junk/Spam folders for an email from affinity@serif.com ?

Emails to German speakers and other europeans were sent today and (after a slight hiccup) you should now be able to place an order from the link in it.

Yes the Affinity store version of Affinity Publisher will recognise the 1.7 Microsoft store versions (after you have run them at least once). You may choose where you want to purchase from and whether to take advantage of the pre-order (or wait for the slighty lesser launch offer)

Nope, still nothing. Also no answer from support.

Can you please make transparent how Serif decides who is eligable for a discount and who not?

Is it measured by reported bugs or how valuable the devs think the suggestions were?

I'm sad. :41_pensive:

Perhaps i downloaded it without signing up then. From memory (and for my other client) it required me to sign up before gaining access to the download file.
