Here's a list of some of the bugs which have been fixed in beta build 2.2.0. 1881 

Please reply in this forum only to comment on any fixes which are in this list (in particular to let us know if you notice that something we say is fixed isn't!) To report any new bugs please do that against the relevant new feature post, or if unrelated to new functionality in the Other bugs & issues forum.

Bugs affecting all platforms

• With the Artistic Text Tool, status bar displays different text when point is over panel versus document view 
• End note formatting bleeds into note number and next end note. AFB-7551
• PDF Export isn't exporting the stroke on some curves/fonts correctly AFB-6868
• Frames saved from videos using the Windows photo app import with a DPI of zero  AFP-6228
• Initial Words and Notes do not function as expected  AFB-7553

• After deselecting a cross-reference on the Cross-References panel, it's auto-selected next time the panel is opened 
• App occasionally crashes when you press Return within Insert Cross-Reference dialog's Filter text field 
• Cross-References panel and fields do not indicate a cross-reference is invalid if its target has been deleted 
• Cross references displayed as paragraph numbers may unexpectedly display zero

• Guide marks are much harder to see on iPad ruler 
• On Transform panel's Alignment Options, pop-up menu for alignment scope is disabled 
• Spelling > Learn spelling learns the next word in the list and not the current selection 
• Place panel cannot be re-invoked if dismissed 
• In Settings, the tail of the 'g' in the heading is cut off 
• Rulers can be re-enabled with preview mode still enabled 
• Ruler Marks get incorrectly scaled with document zoom 
• Selecting Preview Mode from menu doesn’t update toolbar button’s state 
• Tapping the question mark in the bottom right corner does not add labels / tooltips  to items in the context toolbar 
• Tab Stop Advance studio is missing a couple of labels 
• When applying a master to specified pages, the on-screen keyboard obscures the field in which you're typing page numbers 
• Alignment options do not respect the document measurement units and always show px as default. 
• Styles dropdown is offset slightly 
• Version number shown in settings is only the last 4 digits of the build number 
• Picture Frame Context Toolbar doesn't show Anchor tooltip/label when using the help button 
• Stroke width cannot exceed 100 in any unit in Stroke Panel AFD-6589
• On Text panel's Bullets and Numbering section, 'Tab stop' option's label is overset in French and Portuguese

• For cross-references, rename the Full Paragraph option to differentiate its effect from the Paragraph Body option

• Insert Cross-Reference dialog uses the term Index Marker but other, older UI says Index Mark

• New Document custom presets are not imported from retail to beta when migrating content. [HUB-319] 
• Styles/Afphoto is display incorrect fill colours 
• Control run-up does not reset cross references 
• Blank preset in cross references with English UK language 
• Document Statistics Created/Saved/Printed dates are incorrect 

Bugs affecting Windows

• Add Shift-Number key to change flow in brush tools 
• Shift modifier to synchronise colour sliders stops functioning when sliders reach '100%' 
• when trying to assign the numeric key pad + key a = is assigned instead 
• Placing an image and then undocking Layers panel and applying a Curve Adjustment will crash the app [AFD-6656] 
• Decrease shortcut fails in AZERTY layout [AFP-6102] 
• Cross References buttons are slightly clipped at default panel size 
• The image contains insufficient metadata [AFB-7741] 
• Shortcuts are missing from the File, Edit, Text etc. menu's [AFP-6276] 
• Long Press: Holding down the shortcut for the tool you are on hides context toolbar 
• Luminosity Range Mask: Presets do not display their name in the dropdown 
• Greyscale view mode does not work wit RGB/32 colour format [AFD-6704] 
• '+' and '-' shortcut keys are now treated distinctly from 'Num+' and 'Num-' on the Numeric keyboard

Bugs affecting macOS

• Add Shift-Number key to change flow in brush tools 
• Unable to tab between index options 
• Recent fonts list updates only upon quitting and opening app, potentially losing (environment) data 
• Crash inserting cross-reference in non-English document 
• Blank category preferences dropdown causing crash in Grid Presets Manager 
• Cross-references don't update when source is moved between pages  
• Cross-references don't notice when section manager changes page numbering 
• Apps should offer Save As after simultaneous edit 
• The Colour Picker Tool's magnification cursor is shown before you drag and remains so when you release 

Bugs affecting iPad

• Add Shift-Number key to change flow in brush tools 
• On Index panel, separators (eg 'See' and 'See Also') have no values by default, iPad (harder to reproduce on desktop) 
• On Index panel, editing any of 2.2's new label options requires two taps to reveal the on-screen keyboard 
• Custom Field Formatting input field defaults to capitals on iPad 
• The Colour Picker Tool's magnification cursor is shown before you drag and remains so when you release 

IMPORTANT KNOWN ISSUE in 2.2.0.1903: Sorry, but Documents created in previous 2.2.0.1881 betas will crash Windows Photo Persona, but will load into the next 2.2.0 beta to be released soon

• Index Between Items separator was missing the comma 
• Added an additional Index spearator after any cross references

• Store pack updates can't be installed without a ctrl-run up

• If you switch the index language to one we don't have translations for all the separators are empty

• Copy and paste of hyperlink source and target doesn't fix up anchors 
• Cross-reference panel doesn't update when both source and target are deleted 
• On the Index panel, unable to use the Tab key to navigate between new Labels settings 
• Incorrect display of assets in list mode on OSX. [AFB-7559]
• Add On File Size isn't being hidden during download/install progress on macOS/iPadOS 
• Macs/iOS > Swatches panel > Cannot change selected bitmap fill to another bitmap fill in the same swatch 
• Adding a custom variable causes Fields Panel to jump to the top

• PDF Export - tidy up UI (considering new password option) 
• Decimal options not reflected in Stroke Panel 
• OCIO package file (.ocio) not selectable from Preferences, Colour, "Choose OCIO Package" dialog (file greyed out) [AFP-5773]
• OCIO Package is not being created [AFP-3534]
• Edit > Group pops up dialog for only a few secs when "Ask for name when creating Layers or Groups" is enabled in Settings 
• No prompt when creating groups when "Ask for name when creating Layers or Groups" is enabled in Settings 
• Unable to open password protected PDF / OK button greyed out
• App will crash if you attempt to access Text Styles list when a document contains Cross References
• Sample files can occasionally have Preferences button incorrectly and cause crashes
• Backgrounding then restoring Affinity app while loading, shows sign-in prompt even if licensed
• Cancelling the PDF options dialog prevents the most recent document from being opened during that session

IMPORTANT KNOWN ISSUE in 2.2.0.1931: Sorry, but

1. Documents created in previous 2.2.0.1881 betas will crash Windows Photo Persona, but will load into the next 2.2.0 beta to be released soon.
2. Document Statistics [Created/Saved/Printed dates] are incorrect in documents made in some earlier betas.

• Find and Replace - Replace All with singular characters reduces multiple repeats to singular, different results with multiple Replace clicks [AFB-8088]
• Swedish double right quotation marks aren't kept on same line as enclosing word [AFB-7714]
• Transform Origin with multiple Group selections cause the Origin to become offset after the first rotation, further transforms of the origin point do not work as expected. [AFD-6606]
• Show on startup checkbox is present on Account dialog on Windows but not Mac
• Enabling 'From Data Merge' on an Anchor enables option for all previously created Anchors
• Data Entry: Add something to the Status bar to suggest pressing Enter calls the Data Entry dialog
• Move data entry - add rotation
• Move data entry - be able to initiate from other tools
• Alt/OPT + Modifier key no longer invokes when assigned to Increase/Decrease Brush size Shortcuts [AFP-6256]

• Unable to save and replace a file if it's opened by another user
• Opacity cannot be changed using context toolbar fill selection if a PANTONE swatch is used. [AFB-8159]
• Colour Panel: In RGB Hex Sliders the full hex field does not apply to shape [PD-899]
• Settings > Autocorrect auto selects the first character typed, meaning further characters overwrite and you cannot type a full word [AFB-8010]
• When a cross-reference preset is modified, the preset's name is cleared rather than displaying '[modified]'
• Cross reference panel - Scroll bars hide status icon
• Drag and dropping image onto canvas places file on 'active' page, rather than 'visible' page [AFB-8100]
• 'Add Pages from File' does not relinquish control of source file, even after closing new destination document
• Updating linked pdf placed multiple times can cause a hang [AFB-7339]

We have now released beta build 2.2.1.2075, which is Release Candidate 3 of the 2.2.1 patch

It includes the fixes listed above and has updated Help files in all languages, but is otherwise the same as 2.2.1.2063.

We think it is important to get these fixes above released as soon as possible, so 2.2.1.2075 is to be treated as a Gold Master (final release candidate) that we hope can be released next week.
