Is AFFINITY dead?

I'm not sure why developers at Serif should be expected to work a seven day week! Why shouldn't they have weekends off, just like most other people? – Although, going on the fact that some Serif staff comment in these forums at weekends, some of them do seem to go "above and beyond"!

Also I can't see why Serif would not be affected by the pandemic, just like most other businesses were!

Isn't that the point, there is no new coming out, requests for info are referred to the facebook site which is rarely updated other than with an advert. There has been no recent update and the survey mentioning subscription (albeit ruled out since) worried those that left adobe because of the subscription and the fact Affinity is a lifetime licence for each 'paid for' version.

There are people who are having problems with the programs crashing, have reported them and no sign of a 'fix', personally I'd rather know that there will be no ver. 2 for a week, month, year or whatever than hear rumours of 'coming soon' from people 'in the know' who actually don't know.

The compact silence from Serif Labs are a sign that they have nothing to deliever for the moment, especially Publisher for iPad (at least 10 month work left on that app)…

Compact silence is not a sign of anything at all. Serif has stated here on the forum a long time ago and repeatedly that he will not comment on feature requests and deadlines. How you explain this principled non-commenting of your speculations is only your problem.

Just hover the pointer over the name or avatar on the left in a reply from someone you want to ignore & you should get a popup with 3 buttons, one of which is "Ignore."

I guess, Serif is pushing the curiosity too far.
Customers expectations will have reached such a high level of expectation that can impossibly be met by a new release.
