Color palettes

Creating a custom palette in AD is so simple stupid that this post should sound pleonastic...  :)

Anyway I'd like to share these two palettes.

The first one is the famous FlatUI color set.

The second one is the legacy Fractal Design Painter color palette, I'm carrying with me since I was sixteen  :D

Hi paola.limoncelli

I imported the custom color palette you created.

But I don't see all the colors present in the screenshot you attached.

I only have 21 colors in Flat UI color set and 67 colors in Fractal Design Painter color palette.

I believe there should be 113 colors in total right ? Can you tell me if I am missing something ?

Thanks for your effort

Hi, I suppose this is due to the threshold setting that AD applies calculating the palette form the image (the feature I used to generate these).

It is cutting off some "yellows" from the first row, some "blacks" form the last one and I suppose some "greens" too.

Anyway FDP original palette is a bit redundant, I'll find this one perfectly usable.

If I get some spare time I'll add the missing swatches and re-upload it!

Hello there...

I thought I'll share palette that I use daily.
It is designed to work in 15 columns.
Full spectrum in steps, 3 saturation levels, 5 brightness levels + grays.

It's intended use is to make illustrations using precise colour picks rather than guessing on the Colour tab.
Knowing the construction of the palette one can ride it to get all sorts of blends, gradients and contrasts.
