To narrow it down a bit further:
Delete the two groups - I know they aren't visible but delete them from the document. Is it any faster? If not, choose Undo. Delete the FX from the right side picture frame. Is it any faster? If not, choose Undo. Delete the right side picture frame from the document. Is it faster than when you hid the frame? (Because it still seems somewhat slow when you hid the frame.) What format is the picture in the right-side picture frame and what are its dimensions?
What Mac do you have, is it Intel or Apple Silicon?

Hi @Alessandro Carnevali and welcome to the forums,
The good news is that your file opens without any issues. All the assets in the file are Linked which suggests it's likely one of the Linked files causing the issue, most likely the version of 'Store basket.ai' on Page 3 which I replaced in the attached file.
I would strongly recommend that you move all your Linked files to your Internal Hard Drive, keeping them stored on a Cloud Drive or External Drive can cause issues.
If you rename the folder where all your Linked Assets are stored to break the link to the Publisher file you should find the file will open. Then move your Linked files to your Internal Hard Drive, relink them and see if that fixes the issue for you...
Let us know how you get on with the attached file, whether moving and relinking the assets works for you, or whether you still encounter problems.

Thanks for confirming that your assets are stored locally, the file path to the Linked files looked as though it might have been Cloud Storage. Hopefully, you won't run into any more issues please reach out if you do.

I'm not sure what to say. All those work properly for me (iPad specs in my signature below) when using my Apple Pencil 2.
If it's still a problem, can you provide a screen recording showing the issue, and letting us see the brush settings?

I agree this is a bug - on desktop, selecting another tool will commit the 'Align' History entry and I would want this behaviour on iPad too. I will get it logged. Cheers  

When you cycle the selection box it will 100% produce the symptoms you described. The anchor points will reset to 0degree even if layer is rotated, just press the . Key again, it will cycle. If nothing happens it was not cycled. Otherwise the layer selection box handles and rotation value in transform panel will change.

I'm having no issues printing your image multiple times after cropping but I'm on Monterey...
This may (or may not) be related to a known issue with Sonoma reported a few times in the forums... the basic solution to the known issue appears to be to remove the printer in the Mac Printers and Scanners System Settings then re-add your Printer...
I can't guarantee this is the same issue but perhaps worth a try...

What type of input device are you using? Mouse, Pen/Tablet, Touchpad? Can you provide a screenshot of your Settings>Tools? In that tab do you have Use Scrubby Zoom enabled? In that tab do you have Use Mouse wheel to Zoom enabled Also have a look at this post to see if you're running a third-party app that might be interfering
 

@DarkClown Seems like the Auto-select is in Object mode despite saying Default in the context toolbar, and so your marquee selection is drilling down through Groups to directly grab the objects within the Groups - notice how a Group is only dimly highlighted in Layers panel when its content rather than itself is selected. Performing a deletion of the contained objects leaves the now-empty Groups in the document.
I have had the Auto-select behave contrary to its stated mode a few times and corrected it by toggling to another mode then back to the desired mode.

I am just guessing that the problem is due to coincident nodes. There are two nodes overlapping* on the stroke where the problems are occuring. This is most likely a problem with the way the font is built.
 
* or so close that they appear to be overlapping.

You haven't described what's happening. Please give more details, including any error messages, and also your OS.

Could be tht there is a pressure value applied to the size with the Wacom.

You could use an Ellipse with a radial Fill or use concentric ring made with the Donut Tool and some Layer Effects.
The attached was just quickly done but gives you some ideas hopefully.

What is happening is that the text is being converted to Pixels instead of remaining as Vectors. You may have an Effect or Adjustment on those pages that is extended to the text frames.

I also thought this sounds like a redraw issue. This can be tested by changing the retina rendering and display settings in the apps performance preferences and then seeing if this issue still occurs.

Ah, that may be where the issue arises from.
If the organisation doesn’t want users to update at different times then there may be a way for them to disable the update process until they are ready, from a coordinated organisational perspective, to do so.

I guess that's a limit of the PDF specification.
