@Rick G  You have to be really tricky.  I found the new cat tool in the 1.9 Betas, and promptly went to my desktop v. 1.8.4 and made an asset out of the old cat tool — one of my favorites.  I have him saved forever.🤗

Oooookaaaay! What´s the cattool and where can I find it?

Most users discover it accidentally on Friday the 13th. It's an Easter Egg.

Well somehow the old shape was nicer. - However, how things look like through the cat's eyes when it changes (metamorphosis) ... 😉

I've got to be straight here and say that I haven't got the foggiest clue what this thread refers to?

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

Click on the shapes tool. There are triangles, hearts etc. On windows, now hold down shift while you click and look at the bottom item ... vaila the cat!

Thanks for the explanation!

All the while when using Affinity Photo I never knew such a 'secret' existed.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Incidentally, has anyone got a document with the original cat shape in it? I thought that one was the nicest of all :)

(it's the shape I used for the cat tool icon itself)

@AlanPickup, yeah, one day maybe we'll grow up enough to use lion shapes :) But I think that as a team we'll still prefer cats 🐈, so maybe we could just introduce a slider on the shape to morph between cat and lion? 🦁
