    Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @swisskicks.
    You can’t find serial numbers in the Mac versions because they don’t have them! Each purchase is tied to your Apple ID via an encrypted receipt.
    The Affinity apps are licensed separately for each platform (Mac, Windows or iPad). If you want to use the apps on your Windows computer you will need to purchase the Windows versions.

    I'm afraid it's not possible to expand the trial to 30 days, sorry. The trial works for 10 consecutive days after the first run.

    If you purchased from the Windows Store, then as long as you logon to the Windows Store on your desktop, using the same Windows identity as you used on your tablet, you should be able to download it again. After signing in, click the "..." icon on the upper right, choose My Library, then click on Owned, and you should find it available in that list to be installed.

    The Mac and iPad versions are sold and licensed separately. You will need to purchase the iPad version if you want to use the application there.

    Yes, assuming it is a brush type compatible with all the software. Affinity Photo, for example, does not support vector brushes.

    Welcome to Affinity Forums
    We have no way to transfer the association of your old Apple ID to the new one. The Mac App Store is managed by Apple, not us. You have to contact them directly for support regarding anything related to your Apple ID. There's however a few things you can do to get access to the old one (which is associated with you Affinity purchase): you can try to reset the password (see instructions for this here) or in case you have used two-factor authentication check these instructions instead. After you have recovered the old Apple ID you can then sign-out of the Mac App Store and sign-in again with he recovered Apple ID to install the application on your new Mac. Don't forget to then change it again to your current/new Apple ID.

    Hi @DarmokNjalad,
    Welcome to the Affinity forum.
    Unfortunately it is not possible to reset the trial for the device you installed it on, but you can use the trial again on a different device. The trial period will also reset soon after we roll out the 1.7 update in the coming months.

    Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Ray.
    The Microsoft Store versions of the Affinity apps are sold by Microsoft, not Serif, so you can’t simply switch between the MS app and the desktop app. Since the MS app is tied to your MS account, it doesn’t use a product key.
    If you purchased the desktop app(s) within the last two weeks you can apply for a refund.
    P.S. I think you should be able to install the desktop apps in any location, but I’m not sure of the details.

    The Affinity programs are sold and licensed separately for each platform (Windows, Mac, iPad). You will need to repurchase them for use on Windows. 
    That's part of what keeps the prices so low.

    I think you'll need to contact Serif using one of their email addresses to arrange that. Someone from their team will probably respond on Monday.
    Don't make your purchase until you hear from them, as a standard purchase ends up tied to your email address or Windows account.

    Hi, welcome to the Affinity forums.
     I will assume this was an order placed on the Serif/Affinity website, so you need to email affinityorders@serif.com, with the full details of your order and request that they allow you to change to and access the Windows version.
    You may not receive a reply until Monday, at the earliest, since it is now the weekend in the UK and various other forum threads suggest they have been rather overwhelmed recently with similar email requests.

    mission succeeded: Ordering via email works as expected. It took several days but finally we got a correct inovice respecting both VAT IDs.
    Lessons learned: never use the Affinity Shop if you you need an invoice for a company and be patient. This works also for the Mac version!

    Most Affinity customers using Mac purchased the software via the Mac Store, as the Mac Affinity suite has only been available directly  from Serif for a few weeks.
    If you're one who purchased from the Mac Store you'll need to download from there for your new Mac. Serif would have no record of your transaction.

    I live in the US.  I purchased Designer and the workbook from the Affinity Store on November 22.   The elegant workbook arrived in the mail on Monday, the 26th.   Beautifully shrink-wrapped and packaged and in tip-top condition.  I am astounded at the speed!!!!!!!

    This very much depends on where in the world we would be shipping the book to. If you are in the EU then the order would be shipped from within the EU. If you are outside the EU, it could come from within the EU or the US, depending on where exactly it is going.

    Affinity Store accounts are created when you buy something from the store the first time or when you download some resources we offer in certain occasions. For example If you click the download link to claim the Grade UI Kit offer in Affinity Designer (in the Welcome Screen) you will be prompt to create an account in the Affinity Store in order to get/download the kit.

    Affinity licences are platform-specific.  IOW there are different licences for Windows, MAC and IOS and it is not possible to transfer from one to another.
    So yes, you will need to buy a"new" licence for your MacBook.

    A new version (2.x) would require a new purchase that would include all future upgrades to that version.
