Linnie F Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Same as above. I am not happy with the way this all works here. I woud appreceiate it if you would cancel my subscription and get back to me when this is done. Thank You Linda Fonseca (Linnie F) Quote
Alfred Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 The licence fee for Affinity apps is a single payment for each major version, not a subscription. Please reply to @StevenS in your original thread. In your original topic, Serif was working with you to figure out the issue you described. If you've given up on that, you can email affinityreturns@serif.com to arrange a refund, assuming you purchased within the past 14 days. (I'm not aware of anything that is 30 days except for the Trial period, before you purchase.) Please note that both Alfred and I are users, not Serif staff. @StevenS, who first attempted to help you, is a Serif staff member. Leilan Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I thought this was a one time fee how do I find out my log in to cancel I do not want to pay $50 a month Quote
PaulEC Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Hi @Leilan The Affinity apps are licenced with the payment of a one-time fee, there is no recurring subscription! It might help if you could give us a link to the information that leads you to believe that there is some sort of subscription. If you decide that you do want a refund, you need to email: affinityreturns@serif.com emmrecs01 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 – Windows 11 Home - Affinity Publisher, Photo & Designer, v2 (As I am a Windows user, any answers/comments I contribute may not apply to Mac or iPad.)
PaulEC Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Stands a chance – not just wrong information, but completely the wrong company! GarryP Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Welcome to the forums @Felicia Warren As mentioned above, the Affinity applications are licenced through a one-off payment and there are no subscriptions to pay or cancel. If you are paying a subscription for the Affinity software then I would suggest contacting Serif directly via email so they can look into that further and in private for you. If you just want a refund then you can context the email address given earlier in this thread by PaulEC. Quote
PaulEC Posted January 28 Posted January 28 It might be worth checking that you have contacted the right company. This is a forum for users of Affinity software. (Developed by Serif, now owned by Canva.) Apparently there are several other companies also called Affinity! emmrecs01 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 – Windows 11 Home - Affinity Publisher, Photo & Designer, v2 (As I am a Windows user, any answers/comments I contribute may not apply to Mac or iPad.)

Komatös Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Hello @Cornaldo cargill and welcome to the forums. You have been scammed, but not by Serif. Please call your bank to stop the fraud and any further debits. They have probably taken out a subscription of some kind here: https://www.regions.com/personal-banking Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.5 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9060 XT 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.4351) Windows 11 Pro on VMWare Virtual Machine (on Mac) Affinity Suite V 2.6.3 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Tara greggs Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I have asked to cancel my subscription over a month ago and I’m still being charged I am extremely annoyed and not happy as I thought this was handled and it is not unfortunately. I’ve even considered talking to my bank about this and just getting a new card to stop money from coming out. This is honestly ridiculous Quote

It's not clear from your post who you asked to cancel your subscription, but there are no subscriptions to the Affinity products. They are all single-purchase for the application licenses, so if you're getting billed for something named Affinity it is not coming from Serif, and is not for the Affinity software. Alfred Posted April 5 Posted April 5 10 hours ago, Tara greggs said: I’ve even considered talking to my bank about this Why haven’t you actually contacted your bank, instead of merely considering doing so? You say “even considered” as if it’s an extreme measure, but if you’re being scammed then you should (in my humble opinion) be taking extreme measures! If you talk to your bank you can tell them that the payments are unauthorized and instruct them not to make any further payments to that particular payee. emmrecs01 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
