  1. Hi @TechnoLawyer and welcome to the forums There is no shame in being talentless. I am not blessed with talent either. But in this community you can learn so many new things and get inspiration for your own projects. So, once again, welcome. .
  2. On Windows it is sufficient to copy the .affont files into the appropriate subdirectories under C:\users\yourusername\.affinity\[Publisher|Designer|Photo]\2.0\AffintyFonts. Press Windows key + R. Type shell:UsersFilesFolder\.affinity and then navigate to the appropriate subdirectories.
  3. Oh, well. Now I see it too. How unpleasant!
  4. @wim Have you installed the latest 2.0.4?
  5. Hi @Mike10 It's a known bug and should be fixed in the upcoming 2.0.4.
  6. I would like to have only one µ of your creativity. Mine is only enough for drawing stick figures.
  7. Without further information this post is meaningless! And please provide screen recordings in .avi or .mp4 format.
  8. Hi @SweetTea43 and welcome! Can you tell more about your computer? How much RAM it has. Used GPU/CPU. And provide us with crash report, please!
  9. If you have had saved your DTP file in pdf format, Affinity Publisher should be able to open these files. If the files saved in native Publish-it format, Affinity Publisher will not. You can try the 30-day free trial from Affinity Publisher to see if it fits your needs. http://affinity.serif.com
  10. Hi @FlightWay Just try it out for yourself! Download the publisher and try it for free for 30 days. However, you should make your purchase decision quickly, because the low introductory price is only valid until 25.01.2023. On the store page scroll a bit until you see the text button "30-day trial".
  11. Hi @InGameScientist Please download a tool named dism-gui. The side is in german, but the tool has an english UI. If you'd downloaded run the executable and choose sfc. Download: [source]
  12. @Ed_S @caribike @RichTeaBiscuit If the search does not work, perhaps dotNet components are missing in Windows! https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net481
  13. Hi @Luke92 Die Vorgaben werden in der develop.propcol gespeichert! Du findest diese in deinem Benutzerverzeichnis unter C:\Users\deinbenutzername\.affinity\Common\2.0\user The settings are stored in the develop.propcol file! You can find it in your user directory under C:\Users\yourusername\.affinity\Common\2.0\user
  14. Hi @Stitches Is "Save thumbnails with documents" selected in both program versions? You can find it under Edit -> Preferences -> General. And it's a bad idea to throw installed programs into the trash! If you want to get rid of the programs, you should uninstall them. To do this, right-click on the program icon in the Start menu and select "Uninstall".
  15. Hi @Stitches Use "Choose another app" and navigate to the Affinity V1 app folder and select the .exe file. Next time if you select "open with..." you will find the V1 icon again. You have to do this for each V1 app.
  16. Hi @SteveT56 The workbooks are no longer available in the Serif Store, plus their content is out of date. There are some tutorial videos here: And if you are facing seemingly unsolvable problems with Affinity Photo there are many competent users here in the forum who can help.
  17. @Michail Thanks for the suggestion, but content mean fonts, assets etc. not images. This is deselected in Edit -> Preferences -> General.
  18. @Karly Only the developer of imazing converter will be able to answer your question.
  19. EPS files and other Adobe file formats that are/were created with Adobe programs contain a proprietary file area that cannot be read by third-party programs. If all manufacturers who can import/export vector graphics, use a uniform version of SVG, we would have an excellent exchange format.
  20. Hi @Tbowman What hardware are you using? Are all drivers and Windows up to date?
