The 'Share your work' section of the Forums are designed for sharing work specifically created within or edited using the Affinity apps.
("using" in that sentence means adding to or changing in a significant or non-obvious, novel or interesting way that others may appreciate) 
When sharing work, we ask users to provide an explanation of the tools/workflows they used with the Affinity apps, so that other members can have a better idea of the possibilities of the Affinity apps functions - though this is not a strict requirement. 
These Forums are not for sharing AI created artwork, or discussions regarding AI prompts to create specific images.

Some Typefaces get updated over time and expanded as well. That's the case for the Ubuntu Typeface and it's presented as Ubuntu Sans. It now has 16 styles for the normal width and 16 for the Condensed version. It's available in the GutHub repo:

I was remembering this Feature request where there is a video demo of the required functionality, and while I still think this would be a great addition I asked myself: could this possibly be done right now? And it can, sort of. See video below:

Pseudo-ArcTool-Demo.mp4 As you can see, after you set the Donut Tool, you can switch between it and the Point Transform Tool to create the curves.
The bad:
You need to switch constantly between Tools There is no snapping to any intersecting line You have to delete segments to have a single line in the curved line BUT I think the good news is that:
It can be done It's fun I hope this encourages the Devs to spend some time in it given that it doesn't seem to be that far away Best regards!
 

I think it would be useful to display the export format if exporting from the Designer persona, so have logged that.

We have just made a new build available of the 2.4 beta live - version 2.4.0.2240 - which will be available to you on auto update shortly. The fix list for this build is here.

In addition to those fixes we have made a couple of tweaks to insertion target locking based on your feedback:
You can now choose to lock your insertion target to insert inside your selection. All lock insertion options can now be applied on iPad via a long press on the relevant option, in addition to alt-click. Thanks as always for your continued feedback!

Looking forward to seeing the results of your exports! Curiously what software do you use to import the DXF and DWGs in?

I've not done any CNC based stuff myself, but have previously used Inkscape exported DXFs with LaserCut 5.3 at our local hackspace to send to the A0 Laser Cutter. The DXFs we now export now import with LaserCut 5.3 to the correct size.

I will not open anymore my old Illustrator CS4 for doing this…

Thanks for including this export file format! In addition to working on projects destined for digital/offset printing, I also work in CNC machining (mainly part fabrication in aluminum and steel).
Some of my CNC projects involve engraving using a mill or CO2 laser. In the past I used Inkscape to create DXF/DWG files for engraving designs. I'll be trying out Designer's exported DXF/DWG files with my CAD-CAM apps to produce G-code for the CNC machines I use.

Good point. In Inkscape, there is no need for those buttons, so there shouldn't be there if they create a dedicated Panel:

While transforming any object with the move tool (whether resizing, rotating, skewing or moving) you can now hold space to temporarily toggle Lock Children on or off (to achieve the opposite behaviour of what you currently have set in the context toolbar).

I don't work with this File Format but I've seen it being requested for so long. I'm glad it's here for those who need it and I hope the available support fits well in users' workflows.

Sure... And this si the case: different usage for different use cases.
We can always use CMD+Z... Also... Those action buttons could be placed in the floating panel too.
Search Studio works with the same UX pattern (Buttons for live actions...).
Stroke Studio for example does not exist in AP, but works as modal only from context bar whereas APub and AD have both...
Affinity allows a customisation of the toolbar exposing "basic" alignment, and these work without a "commit" action.

Multiple way to access the same functions.
Anyway, we're not asking to remove the dropdown, but to add a sidecar "non modal" version because with large canvases and lots of artboards these alignment and spacing functions will be easier to reach.

I thought I'd take Affinity Designer's amazing new spiral tool for a spin in a recent Spoonflower competition. Spoonflower is a print-on-demand service for anyone who wants to buy printed fabrics and wallpaper. These spirals incorporate Pantone Peach Fuzz and Peach Blossom. Peach Fuzz is the 2024 Colour of the Year.

Yes this does apply to pixel layers and you can always cycle back to any objects original "Base Box" - nothing destructive is done to any layers you do this to.
