Affinity apps roadmap & commonly requested features) - refreshed compilation

EDITED: This is just a compilation of Affinity Photo and Designer roadmaps by TonyB and MEB's "Common Feature Requests INDEX", just to be easily found.

Everything that is already implemented is removed.

I hope that Affinity staff would not get angry for doing this on my own. Just want to keep things clear.

Nice compilation. I would add the so much expected “snapping handles to grid” for Designer (maybe for Photo).

I didn't add anything. I'm not supposed to. It is from Affinity staff. I've just removed features already implemented.

I would love to be proved wrong, Petar, but I don't think that's on the 1.x roadmap.

Yes, it is. It is in MEB's "Common Feature Requests INDEX" topic.

Ah, that's quite different! The roadmap is specifically restricted to features which will be added to free updates for version 1.x. The CFRI lists features which have not yet made it onto the roadmap, so there's no guarantee that they will be included in version 1.x (or, indeed, 2.x or a later version).

Even in TonyB's roadmaps topics there is nothing about 1.x version. So everything is for future versions.

Sorry, but it was not mentioned/listed in roadmaps.

You are right: it was mentioned on the Sneak Peeks for 1.7, not in the roadmap.

We can argue about the timescale, but the important thing is that the roadmap is a list of features which the developers are committed to implementing. The Common Feature Requests Index is merely an index of features which are commonly requested, so we cannot assume that any features on that list will ever be implemented.

I don't understand why your list has (for Designer, for example) 20 items when the official roadmap for Designer has only 14. (But, by the way, your list for Designer has Arrowheads twice.)

Also, the official Photo roadmap has only 8 items, and you have 11.

And then there all the ones you have for "Both" that are not in either official roadmap?

If you expect me to add some new feature to the list, I am not allowed. If you want some new feature then start a new topic in "Feature requests".

It lists frequently requested features, not things that will definitely be added to the apps. Petar should not have added its items to the roadmap lists, in my opinion.

Well, what can I say. Do it on your own and you will see. Copy/Paste from all three sources and arrange them by removing the implemented features. You will get the same I did.
