Designer -- Drag rulers onto the page would be helpful

Recommended Posts

As in CorelDraw it would be so helpful to click and drag in the ruler left corner and drag into position on the page. And then simply double-click in the left ruler corner to reset them. Thanks.

Hi Pixelate,

This is already on the Common Feature Requests list in the General functionality section (Change rulers origin point / relative origin point). I will link it to this thread since it's not linked to any yet.

Please take a look at the rest of the list since there's already threads dealing with a few common requests to avoid duplicates.

Thanks, I missed that one but did check out the Affinity Road maps first before posting. Good to know it's on the "to do" list. Thanks for pointing it out.

Sounds like two different requests to me…

1. Set the origin point (and direction of the axis)

2. Physically move the rulers onto the page / artboard

Hi Pixelate,

Just to clear this up: the roadmaps list the features planned for the applications (that's what the dev teams are working on). The Common Feature Requests list only lists the most frequent requested features made by users to avoid thread duplicates. They may or may not be implemented in the app. That's up with the dev. teams.

Hi, MEB:

Please, PLEASE move the "rulers" request to the Roadmap.

It really is about time this issue was taken care of.

Other that that: AffD & AffPh getting better with each update.
