Alfred
That wireframe is just insane, but probably no more so than for any other work that the OP has posted here! James Rodriguez
Goodness, this is beautiful work, George! I'm in love with it. Question: In your wires there are a series of straight lines across the ferns (if that's the right name). At a glance they kinda look like someone took a pen and scribbled them out. Are those lines controlling object blends, or gradients or what? G-F-H 1 Quote https://www.behance.net/jimmyrodriguez

Guest
Tout simplement splendide: travail tout en finesse et les couleurs sont de toute beauté! Le feuillage et les papillons sont magnifiquement mis en valeur, vraiment un grand bravo! EDIT I am so charmed that I forgot the translation! Simply splendid: work in finesse and the colors are beautiful! The foliage and the butterflies are beautifully highlighted, really a big congratulations! James Rodriguez
Thanks for the screenshots of the 'paste inside', really helps. Question 2: The image being pasted inside the ferns, I guess that's a custom brush stroke or otherwise a pixel element? And I further assume the same element has to be pasted individually in every leaf. Am I right? Man, this is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. Alfred
Yes, it's a brush stroke, and each frond is individually pasted. Thanks for confirming that James wasn't frondly imagining it. (Sorry!) G-F-H
I'm thinking of doing another in the same theme, or maybe widening the butterflies canvas. *sigh...so many ideas, so little time...

Sure am glad I happened on this post to see such a wonderful work of art. And "work" is the right word in a lot of ways. Effort for one, but another thing I like is how you can enjoy the overall, as well as each component alone. Each component is beautiful and, overall, they work so nicely together. I like that you left contrasting strokes on all the objects and it really works with this subject. Your art also shows how important the right background can be - and you nailed it with that background, twisty vines and all!
