OS (and application) please

See this on Windows, using Designer 2.4 first beta.

  1. Create and group three rectangle shapes
  2. Group (I used right click menu)
  3. Ungroup (used right click menu)
  4. Designer disappears instantly

Same here.

All three Apps.
Ungroup a group and the apps closing without any error message.
After the crash the file is locked by the App, in which it is crashed.
Reopening and normal closing of the file stops locking.

Interestingly if I use the Menu choice of Layer > Ungroup All it ungroups and does not crash.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I didn't try that one, but the context menu Ungroup command does crash.

That's great, thanks! I will temporarily swap my shortcuts for Ungroup and Ungroup All to prevent crashes.

The issue "Crash when ungrouping objects" (REF: AF-1709) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2237".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
