Do other companies do that sort of thing? Let users donate and develop based on that? It sounds like a real nightmare on the back end. You have 10 people donate for X feature, so the company starts developing, then you have 15 people donate for Z feature, does the company stop and switch gears based on donations? Do they pout out options for people to bid on and in that time frame which ever one gets the most is the one that goes into development? The only good I see from this type of idea is it is an easy way to be disruptive and create chaos to ones business.

I mean, it is still useful and does basically the same thing. I would agree that the current version could benefit from having weight influences to be able to bend things more easily, but that doesn't mean it should be scrapped.

Why should it be "removed"? - just don't use it, which is equivalent to you removing it. Other users may be fine with the filter as it is, so at least they can use it.

There are certainly a lot of users who don't even know there is a version 2, or that there was a version 1 before, and that if they have "Affinity", then there are actually three different Affinity applications whose help is specific and in many ways non-transferable. Likewise, many (perhaps most) users don't even know that there is any online Help :-), so it's actually pointless to worry.

As far as I know, it doesn't automatically - but since it is a "Resize" of an existing document, it could be done depending on its "Force pixel alignment" setting.

In this case, just snap to object geometry, or snap to geometry of selected curves.

Yes, with many objects and many snap conditions set, it can be a bit of a problem to snap correctly. In these situations it is very useful to use Snapping candidates.

Hi Pšenda. 
I tried to replicate but I had the History tured off in this document so I was not able to locate it. 
It seems to be when a frame is detached from text flow, but has originated on a different page. 
Let's say it was made on page 5 somehow moved to page 3 was then disconnected from the text flow. 
You would see the frame on page (visually) but not in the layers panel. 
In the layers panel you would see that text frame is associated with a layer on page 5.
 
That is the best way I can explain it.

I can't wait for the new beta forum — so that I can start complaining about what it doesn't include and start looking for bugs that haven't been fixed!

AFAIK there's (since version 2) a subforum added and most likely the previous archived when a new beta cycle is coming on.
