It does have access to Files app when importing/opening from iCloud. It just differs when opening from Apple Photos or when saving/exporting. Not sure if that's because most third party cloud services haven't updated their API's yet...

Metadata in  metadata studio is still wrong.  The file size before import 3264x4795 px (in the front page when AP is started.)  But in metadata it is still shown as 1920x1280 px. Also, ISO is still missing.  It seems like nothing has changed.

Same same if I import a raw file.  ISO is visible on top left of screen where it show raw and some metadata, but missing in studio.

Okay, did more testing, if I develop a new raw file, iso is in metadata. But file size is still showing 1920x1280.

The hottest photo retouching and compositing app on the iPad gets hotter! Nice to see this extensive update introduced so close to the iOS 11 update! I dropped Photoshop after more than 20 years after trying Affinity Photo on the iPad and Mac. Adobe still makes great software (still using After Effects regularly), but I like the approach Affinity took on the iPad vs. Adobe. Also, I'm saving a whole lot in monthly subscripiton fees.

Hoping to see Designer on the iPad soon!

Hello Affinity team!

I'm working on Affinity Photo on a brand new iPad Pro 12.9 and it seems really a great porting from PC/Mac to iOS,

but form me it still misses some very important features, that I hope you will implement soon :

1) First of all : BRUSH CURSOR HOVERING. This is a fundamental feature for me.
I need at least to see the brush shape outline while I draw, like I can do with a setting in Procreate

2) Support for multitasking side-by-side windows in iOS 11 with drag and drop

3) When transforming objects/layers, the chance to see and position/snap the "Rotation centre" in order perform rotation around a pivot point

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

P.S. Are you planning to do also a porting of Designer for iOS ?

I just processed family photo shoot completely with Affinity for iPad. Overall, I was very pleased. It took me a little while to get my workflow determined. One negative I found was that image names were not brought over into the app. I would like to see image names preserved as images are loaded into the app. Otherwise, very pleased.
