Similar problem.... I have current Beta installed and App Store won’t let me load the current store version, it just opens the beta... so I can’t load the extra goodies available. When I try I just get a screen filled with hieroglyphics.... I have restarted and rebooted iPad but no luck

The lightning flash drive will have its own app to allow transfers. Different brands will have their own app and I’ve only used the Leef one

Export from the menu panel (top left where it looks like a page with a folded corner) then share from the bottom left and you will have choice where to save

I use the Leef brand.... my experience to this point is that you can directly open a file from this flash drive right into affinity photo but you must save the file first to the iPad and then to the drive... I hope this will change in the the future to allow you to save directly to the flash drive because you get a lot of extra files floating around

I have AP for iPad and windows desktop.... I am very happy with the price point and purchase.... I am on both beta programs and I appreciate how hard the developers are working to make improvements!! BUT...... I have a big problem with this forum and moderators. I have reported 4-5 problems and have submitted files for them to look at. Every time I report a problem the moderators will ask a question and then they disappear never to respond again. Still happy with the purchase though and I anticipate the bugs being worked out

I click and hold to set the source but that spot will not stay in place but instead follows the Apple Pencil to the location I want to repair... I have tried all the different settings but it still happens.... I reloaded the store version and didn’t have this problem then went back to the most current beta and it still occurs.... I’m not a newbie so this is something in the current beta

I’ve not seen this reported. On the latest Beta the cloning and healing brush have some erratic behavior. After the click and hold that point won’t stay in place but it follows the pen tool. I went back to the regular build and reloaded the beta with same results...

The problem appears to be with files created with old versions of photoshop , which is what this file was..... so yes opening it in a newer version and then Affinity works

Update but not a solution: i downloaded the AP windows beta and did a few edits then took it back into the iPad.... Well, for now I can save my work...... this is not a viable solution but it is just to see if it works for others

I would be happy to.... please let me know what you discover!! And thanks for the help.... it crashes every time I try to edit the file and save it...it’s a big file and I tried twice to download it.... can we do it to your drop box??

Unfortunately a re install did not help

I have it backed up.... I am not able to do any work on the file on the iPad Pro and save the current work. The program crashes during save... I'll have to try the windows beta to finish the project and print it.... the only work around I have not yet tried is deleting the iPad program and re installing,,, and I'll try that this afternoon.... I love working in the program but it's not functional currently

I’ll try it if there is a windows beta but that doesn’t address the issue of not being able to save edit changes on my iPad version.... I’m getting frustrated with no answers for moderators here when Affinity says come here with problems.... this is my second problem with the program with zero help

Been trying for three days looking for a work around..... I left a 5 star review of this program. I will need to see if I can change that because as of right now it is useless and affinity is providing zero support.... and I have purchased the ipad and desktop version

I’ve been working on the same restoration photo for weeks and all of a sudden when I try to save my work the program crashes ( iPad version)..... and I can’t now work on it on windows desktop because it says the file is created with a new program version.... some help here would be appreciated

I’ve been using for weeks retouching a photo... now suddenly I can’t click out of the program without it crashing and loosing my edits.... also a saved to cloud version can’t be opened on the windows app saying it was created with a newer version of affinity photo. help!! My productivity has now dropped to zero on this project

On windows desktop version my text layers are converting to bitmap when opening psd.... I did click and check the text box to keep it them as text layers but it’s not working. Help

The App Store won’t let me update from 1.6.4 to the newest version. I have updated to ios11. Just purchased last week. No update button just an open button to my current version
