I've deleted all Arial fonts in the folder user...local...: it works now. Thanks for your help. The problem is solved for me.

update: I saved the original document again as IDML in Indesign CS6 and opened it in AfPub 2.2.1 - no crash, all photos linked - no more problem. The old afpub file, with the crash in 2.2.1, was created with a version before 2.2.1. This solved the problem for me.

the XMP metadata "Title" and "Description" are not read from the XMP sidecar file of the CR2 photo and are therefore no longer included in the exported file. The settings option "Load metadata from XMP sidecar files" is checked.

thanks, this was the solution. As long as there are the 2 spaces it doesn't work. After substitution of the spaces by a tab it works as expected.

Yes it helps. I went this way: close AP with my old doc, open AP, new doc, define shortcuts CTRL+Shift+6, close AP, open AP with my old doc -> it works
Just updated to 2.0.3 and it seems to work there without workaround. No message if I press CTRL to define new shortcuts.

Maybe it sounds pretentious, arrogant, etc., but I also bought all three V1 products 2 years ago for a very attractive price. In the meantime, there have been many improvements within the V1. I am of the opinion that the price for V2 is totally justified, especially if you buy the universal licence with the discount, as I did. For the price I can work with Adobe for about 3 months and then that's it.

I've got a PDF file and want to open it. Neither in the official build nor in the 665 beta I can open the PDF. No problem with the same PDF in Adobe Acrobat X and PS CS6.
I would like to get an upload link to analyse it.

well done. The size of a afpub file created by a previous build was 165MB. Now with build 663 it is 4,5MB.

AffPhoto doesn't read the XMP tag PersonInImage existing in the source file (independent on the source format). The result is: the tag is not in the final exported file and can't be used by a DAM system like Daminion.
