Mr. K Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Is there a way to select objects across multiple pages? WhiteX 1 Quote
elmonopascual Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Hi Mr. K. I have the same doubt. I tried to select several shapes or text frames on different pages to change their background color but I could not. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 This does not seem to be possible. WhiteX Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 I work on a ~50 page illustrated book, and I often need to change different objects at once on all pages, but it's not possible to select objects from different pages / spreads. This feature would be very useful. Wasn't this asked yet? (Except in this thread). SillyWalk 1 Quote Branding, Identity Design, UI/UX Design. | https://whitex.design

Joachim_L Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Do you have also ADesigner installed? Then work with symbols. Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

I believe this is another downside of Affinity's layer model tied to a single page/artboard, so it was discussed before, just in a different context (see @JGD's thread I'm linking below). Switching to the "Universal Layers Concept" would fix such issues easily. Well, I hope it's going to happen one day. InDesign CS6 and Quark 2019 both have a universal/global layer system but neither can select objects on more than 1 page. Quote Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM

It was just my wish, since it would make Publisher superior. Quote Why relying on your users to report errors is the dumbest thing you’ll ever do
WhiteX Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I would very much like to see a page management system similar to Designer's approach, where you see all your artboards on one global board. This is so much better, so I keep going back to Designer for DTP work too... Quote Branding, Identity Design, UI/UX Design. | https://whitex.design
CM0 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Just started using publisher and within the first hour of use I needed to select objects across pages. Hard to believe this still is not a feature. Quote
Sebili Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Still not possible in late 2022?! okay... 🥶 Quote
