CRWillow Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Very nice. love the branch Any chance you could tell me how you added your brushes to AD. I've have some I made in illustrator but can't figure out how to add them to AD. So I recreated them in AD but can't find how to add them. All the tutorials and instructions are on how to tweak other brushes or make art bushes which isn't what I was striving for, i'm sure it's easier than I've found or not found. Just want to save my own. I've been looking for weeks but am getting no closer. Quote
CRWillow Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 No, I tried that; but nothing shows up in my illustrator preset folder when I try to import with Affinity. My Illustrator is Very Very old which is why I'm trying to use Designer since my AI is no longer working properly. I tried another video that using the export persona but the same thing happens. Why it worked once and never again is beyond me. I didn't change anything, I was ever working on the same document. I tried remaking them in separate docs but that hasn't worked either. Quote
Wosven Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 As shown in the import dialog, you can only import .abr or .afbrushes files. Perhaps there was a PDF file showing the AI brushes and you used this to create them last time. Quote
