+1. We have been waiting for this for far too long. Please implement this as website work is difficult without proportional corner radius. Instead of % please add pixel option!

This has indeed been added. Well done Affinity!

Has been implemented as absolute measurement

To ELI5 — if I draw a 100mm square, convert to curves, and add 20mm radius to a corner with the corner tool, then scale the square to 50mm, the corner remains at 20mm radius instead of scaling to 10mm as would be logical. Seems like a no-brainer to me, but hey ho...

Not that it makes sense imho - draw the rectangle - check Absolute sizes - choose corner type - set radius to 20mm

Duplicate (for comparison) uncheck Absolut sizes - scale.

Or try the "Contour"-tool.

I'm gonna toss a bump on this one too.

There's a box in the stroke pallet that says "scale with object", would really love to see this same checkbox added to the context bar for rounded corners to scale with object on a per object basis (preferably on by default).

To see this still not implemented 7 years later when it is a feature of other programs like Figma is so frustrating. Pleeeease add it 🙏! I have a series of character designs that i want to make model sheets for. This involves scaling the characters down to different sizes on different pages, but still being able to tweak them when/if needed as they're still a work in progress. Right now this is a nightmare without proportional scaled corners 😭

In the latest version of AD there's this Scale Override option in the Transform panel: https://affinity.help/designer2/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/ObjectControl/transform.html&title=Transforming objects

In the dropdown there's an option called Shape Corners which I think should resize the corner radius proportionally but it's not. So I'm not really sure what this option does but it's really absurd that we don't have an option to proportionally resize corner radius values.

Infinite scalability and non-destructive operations are core principles. It should not be necessary to bake rounded (or shaped) corners to be able to scale them proportionately with an object. Non-destructive rounding is half the point of having a corner tool.

  • Please fix the broken "shape corners -> scale with object" option
  • Add a "lock" option in the corner tool to opt individual rounded/shaped corners out of scaling

I couldn't find a bug report for that, so I've filed one.

Update: it turns out the override option isn't meant to apply to corners altered with the corner tool. Instead, it only affects the three shape tools with dedicated rounded corner options in their context toolbars: rectangle, rounded rectangle, and callout rounded rectangle.
