Affinityconfusesme
Minor aesthetic issues. within the brushes panel it is called delete category. in the styles panel it is called remove category. Assets it is the same way, delete category. I would have assumed that they would be all called the same thing. loukash and Frozen Death Knight 2 Quote New hardware dell inspiron 3030 i5 14400/16GB DDR5/UHD 730 graphics Acer KB202 27in 1080p monitor Affinity Photo 1.10.6 Affinity photo 2 2.5.3 Affinity Designer 2 2.5.3 Affinity Publisher 2 2.5.3 on Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 Beta builds as they come out. canon 80d| sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM | Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD | Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Autofocus APS-C Lens, Black

Staff Chris B Posted November 27, 2023 Staff Share Posted November 27, 2023 Hey tzvi20, The Styles Panel is indeed wrong here. It should be Delete (as it is on macOS) so that's the bug. I'll get this logged. Thank you. Affinityconfusesme
They move the 2.3 threads into the archives to make room for the 2.4 threads, which is what they did for 2.3, but that did not happen yet. Frozen Death Knight
They did mention that they wanted to start 2.4 before the end of the year. The latest for that to happen is if they release it some time this week on a workday, the most common patch day being Thursday from experience. If you don't see any new builds by Friday then it is safe to say that it's been postponed until January.

debraspicher
I kinda expect they will push for Christmas miracle to get the good buzz out there then take their holiday break while people test the new functions... especially if they're planning another sale of any kind soon... it could also be timed for New Years. Staff Patrick Connor Posted December 19, 2023 Staff Share Posted December 19, 2023 We were considering starting a 2.4 beta yesterday, but we have decided to add & test a few more changes before we start, so it will be in the new year but contain more. 11 hours ago, Old Bruce said: What I see there is:... I can see why you might think that but the Serif info bot post quoted above is actually suggesting that the localisation/translations will not be included in for new features and fixes until later in the beta and we did not want you saying that the feature was still in English when the beta started. The fix is that Find and replace field names are now capable of localisation. It was not actually not hinting at the beta start date at all 😜 Frozen Death Knight, Affinityconfusesme, Rick G and 5 others 7 1 Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! debraspicher
I didn't expect anyone from Serif to give us a timetable, but it works out in a way for me because I have some incentive now to update my presets/preferences in the release version before importing these preferences back into the beta. Long story short, the prior beta had some key functionality in it that I moved a lot of my workflow to it and ended up with both programs setup differently. For example, I had presets/assets in beta I didn't have in release, etc. So I think it's a nice time to double check that our release versions are as needed so when I "restart" beta and import back into it, everything will be how it needs to be already...
