Hi Team
I updated Affinity Photo to 1.7 for my Windows Surface and was offered the Inksy Brushes which installed immediately - ok
I updated Designer to 1.7 and was given a bunch of fonts and some other iconic stuff but when i updated Photo and Designer to 1.7 on my iPad Pro no sort of offers turned up
any way of obtaining these free by for the iPad versions, please?

Hi guys. 
1st  (video) issue still  not fixed
2nd (photo) I already tired of going to context menu to change planes, it’s crazy. It’s eazier for me to draw isometric icon in Procreate than to fiddle around pressing small icon of context menu. Maybe it will be possible to make it separate?
3. Still no global color on iPad?

when rulers arrive, might the user be able to set where the zero point is..in the case where you need the origin to be other than the top left corner of the document or art board?

BTW, predefined warp, like arc lower, arc upper, and arc options, like the one in illustrator will be fine too!

Thank you all for the answers. As a logo designer, my work should be done in vector, and made as fast as possible. I work on my pc in illustrator, but moving from Ai to Designer for iPad is something that I was waiting for. 
There is only a few things that missing from Ai, and I will move completely from PC to more mobile, more precise and reliable device.
Can't wait future updates!

A mesh warp/distort tool in on our roadmap for a future update, found here!

It would be great to be able to name new documents as they are being set up. And also to have access to name/rename while working without having to exit out to the file browser.

Yeah thats what i have to do, but its killing a workflow. Had hope that control points sensitivity can be minimised to their visual size. Thats what messing everything up(

You are not able to lock the guides on Designer for iPad

Hi Andreus,
Select the text object in the Layers Studio, change to the Rectangle Tool and tap the To Curves button on the context toolbar (bottom). I will pass this to the dev team. I agree it should be more intuitive/easy to find, unless i'm missing something here.

Unless I am mistaken, there doesn’t seem to be an option like this in the iPad version, Stephan. 
But here is a sort-of-workaround:
Create your text and select the layer With the layer selected, tap Commands (Three Dots Menu) > Geometry > Add If you want to have your glyphs as single layers, you will have to use a Boolean Divide afterwards, and then you will have to use Subtract for recreating the glyph counters Hope that helps …

I understand that this has been an issue for the desktop app. Unfortunately the work-arounds suggested by the more seasoned users doesn't seem to work for the iPad version.
Any brushes that are not Solid Pen will result in a visible gap despite the shape being closed/joined. The original gap will go away once you break the curve elsewhere (creating another gap). I'm under the impression that this is not actually a bug, but rather an aesthetic thing where textures appearing to be hand-drawn aren't supposed to look perfect. It'd be awesome to have the option to close the gap though.

Yes, the first gen iPad Pro works great with Affinity Photo iPad.

The help function Designer requires me to leave the drawing.
I'd rather have an EBook or PDF that I could open in another app to switch quickly. An online manual would also be ok.
