iPad Pro 12.9 2015 or iPad Pro 12.9 2017 ?

Recommended Posts

As I had been getting mixed memory happenings on my iPad Pro ,12.9 ,1st Gen 128 flash mem on Affinity Photo , but not Designer as yet .

I asked the question is my iPad good enough in another forum . One gent shew me where to look and said if mine was not on the list to contact Apple for a refund .

The list , lists iPad Pro 12.9, but does not clarify if it is the first gen or the 2nd gen that is compatible with Affinity Photo and Designer .

So I ask , is the 1st Gen I Pad Pro 12.9 version compatible or not ?

 cheers guys . . .

Cheers BeverlyE , not clear enough for me as it is listed , with out saying 1st or 2nd .

FWIW, that almost always means the generation does not matter. So if you have any iPad Pro model, you can expect the apps to work with it.

Affinity Photo 1.7.1, Affinity Designer 1.7.1, Affinity Publisher 1.7.1; macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 iMac (27-inch, Late 2012); 2.9GHz i5 CPU; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M; 8GB RAM
Affinity Photo & Affinity Designer for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iOS 12.3.1
