  1. Hi Polygonius, Thanks for your post, I'll get this logged with the developers.
  2. Hi Brittney, An issue similar to this has been reported to the developers before but isn't actually a bug. Instead it is an unfortunate side effect of the way the Adjustments and Live Filters operate on documents that are being viewed at less than 100% Your document contains lots of high contrasting pixels between the red and the white. This means what when you zoom out of the document to less than 100% what you see in the application has to get rescaled. As you are using Adjustments and Live Filters then these calculations are being done on the smaller rescaled document and this can cause the differences in appearance that you are seeing at different zoom levels. The only way to get an accurate representation of your document is to view it at 100%, or to occasionally merge the layers like you've done to get a more accurate representation of what your export will look like. Similar behaviour is exhibited in other applications. For example in Photoshop, the image is hardly visible when zoomed out!
  3. Hi shojtsy, In the latest build (1.7.0.188) the Affinity Photo icon has updated, I can see from your GIF that you're possibly not using the current version? I've been unable to replicate the issue in 1.7.0.188.

  10. Hi Jason, Great to hear Jason! Thank you for your support and welcome to the forum. Does this seem to be an issue for you in the latest beta build also? If so, please upload the PDF so I look into this for you.
  11. Hi Wolfie2, Sorry to hear you've having some installation troubles. Could you please right click the .exe file and check it has a Digital Signature? You can check this in properties. Also, getting the installation log file would be really helpful. To do this: 1. Press the Windows Key + R to bring up the Run Dialog and remove any text inside it 2. Drag the downloaded setup file e.g Affinity Publisher Beta - 1.7.0.167 into the Run Dialog window. 3. After this add /log to so it reads something like C:\Users\jfisher\Desktop\Affinity Publisher Beta - 1.7.0.167/log and then press OK – the installation will start as normal. 4. After the installer fails you can access the install.log file by navigating to %TEMP%/AffinitySetup/ from the Run Dialog. 5. Once inside this folder you will want to look for the folder with the latest Created/Modified Date 6. Inside that folder you should have two files Setup.log and Install.log - if you only have 1 of these look through the other folders you saw in Step 5 - one of those should have these two files in. Once you've found the two files could you attach them to this thread please?
