Time to get Publisher on the iPad Pro platform. Come on, people!

Not just a want..but a NEED for Affinity Publisher on iPad Pro now. Too many projects and opportunities...and only a desktop version thus far (don’t have..all work is iPad and loving it).
Please...soon...please!

I think the work around is owning all three Affinity apps 😞 - unless Serif comes up with a "remove formatting" solution for customers who only have one app.
The usability issue is that you can open this file in Designer and not understand what the problem is and how to resolve it - even if you own Publisher as well. Sharing code but not features has advantages and disadvantages. This is clearly one of them.

Wondering if you could implement AR for previews before printing, and over time, use measurement adjustments to get a feel of what the final measurements should be of the drawing? Vectornator X has implemented AR for previews. Thanks.

Thanks Sean, that fixed it. In case it helps, this layer was fine and able to select it in the original afdesign document. I just copied the layer from the original document, and pasted into the document you have seen.

I’ve also had issues With the Undo/Redo gestures in the current iPadOS public beta (version 5 from memory), with the latest Designer beta v1.7.2.

Good news team, the onscreen keyboard appears to be working so far in current Designer release on iPadOS Public beta 4. Can select different fonts/typefaces, text alignment, etc. Will continue testing.

Sure thing Patrick, 
Letting you know it is difficult to change a vector brush’s opacity by sliding left/right on the Context bar. You can see the video attached. When using the swipe gesture, the opacity value tends to change in decrement/increments of 1, none, 3-4 or more at a time...

It is actually Snap to Margins that is not working here (and is not limited to a Publisher file) - snapping to a horizontal or vertical guide does work. The issue is that the 'Snap to Margins' toggle in the Snapping screen is actually missing from the screen and is defaulted to off. I'll get this passed on to development!

I would certainly participate if offered, and give feedback. Designer is my main Graphic Design tool, as would Publisher if offered on the iPad.

Quick one Serif, thanks for including the Pages option. As it is not always available, such as when using other tools, can imagine people finding it laborious like I have, if aware of the option. How about including an optional pages thumbnail view that is always available when tapped and/or swiped in from the side, similar to Apple Pages? That said, this won’t matter when Publisher comes to iPadOS.

Thanks for listening to people’s feedback. Don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for Hex colour input, and works so efficiently too without taking too much space in the studio. Makes me want to help the team even more if that’s possible
