Bruno Rhuan
My first work in Affinity Designer. Just an idea that came up in my mind about this little girl in the river, which is a very comon scene here in the Amazon. I don't have much experience with water reflection so it's a little simplified in the bottom of the drawing. Just watched a couple youtube tutorials about light and shadow and tried to put in practice. By the way, the noise tool is AWESOME! Hope you like it! David
Excellent texturing and only first piece too, nice :) You've illustrated what I really love about Affinity - Each artist seems to find a tool/process they have always used in their style/workflow and find it works better, faster and cleaner.Which leaves 'us' to get on with being more creative and spend less time battling with tools and unintuitive processes. Dale
I like this even more than seeing it on Twitter, bigger image means more to drink in. Lovely textures make this for me. penwiper
Oh, very nice indeed! I love the expression on her face and the lighting in the trees especially. I think since the water is moving quite a bit you don't need to worry so much about reflections of the boat. :-)
