  1. Hi James, Thank you very much for the excellent tutorials. Please may I ask you to do a tutorial on brushes, especially sub brushes and textures. I am experimenting, but it would be very nice if someone knowledgeable could provide more guidance.
  2. Just to say congratulations and many thanks Affinity Team! Really really enjoying playing with the free textures on some photos of flowers and digital paintings. Thanks again
  3. Brilliant work. Thanks for sharing. My personal favourite is the second one, but they are all super.
  4. Yeps link not working. Message reads: <Error> <Code>AccessDenied</Code> ...etc
  5. They are marvellously well done. Thanks for sharing TonyJ!
  6. On a MacBook just press alt 2 to get €. Seems to work fine in AD.
  7. Ahh, I think I found it Bleduc, although not with a vector brush, it was this post I was thinking of: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5446-blue-bunny/ A really lovely work by Retrograde.
  8. I found a nice tutorial on making vector fur, but it depends on blending/replicate, one of the things on the roadmap we are waiting for still on Affinity Designer. https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-add-fur-to-vector-animal-illustrations--vector-889 Perhaps it will give you ideas? I am sure someone else made a lovely vector fur effect on the forums 18 months or so ago, but I cannot find it I am sorry. Good luck. I shall follow this thread to see if anyone can point the way, maybe even a dev?
  9. May interest some on this thread to take a look at a post on Affinity Facebook page, January 12th post, sneak peek at brush stabilisation. https://www.facebook.com/AffinitybySerif/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf Looks very nice!
  10. On the MacBook the updates are through the Apple Store. Just click on the Apple Store icon in your dock, then the updates arrow at the top right, and if there are any updates available, click to download. You may need to sign in with your Apple ID of course. For the betas, if there isn't a prompt when you open the beta app stating that a new beta version is available, simply click the forums tab at the top of this page, click on either Affinity Photo for Mac beta, and the latest beta is available there to download. Same with Affinity Designer on Mac beta. Hope this helps you.
  11. I hope you get to sleep in tomorrow, Andy! Thanks for all your amazing work :)
