Include features from later version - I worked in 2.6 public beta 2.6, and when new version can't open older version? Catalina osx.

Urgent I worked in calendar which I must end, this is very bad

Can you upload that file so we can try to open it?

Also can't open any  from version 2.5.5. - so could be option in OSX Catalina? I could open all in Beta 2.6. , but not in new version 2.6. Something was change, I get beta 2.6 back from Time Machine and can open all as I said, nothing old can't be open in new version always same massage

AFAIK, the latest retail version is 2.5.6, not 2.6.
Hence it's normal that in 2.5.x you can't open a work saved in 2.6 Beta.

You should have been warned about this and advised to save a copy in 2.5.x before.

P.S. This question has already been answered in another thread:

Hi @Iztok  The latest retail version is 2.5.6 (on Windows). There is no 2.6 retail yet. So you shouldn't expect to open a 2.6 Beta file on a 2.5.6 Retail.

It's actually "very bad" to use beta versions for important work, rather than just for testing!

Acer XC-895 : Windows 11 Home Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz :  32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 –
Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) – Also all apps on 12.9" (Second Generation) iPad Pro, OS Version 17.7.5
Old Lenovo laptop : Windows 10 - v1 and latest beta versions of all Affinity apps – Ancient Toshiba laptop: Vista - PagePlus X9, DrawPlus X8, PhotoPlus X8 etc

If you've already started working, not just testing - as is always explicitly stated, why don't you finish the work in beta version 2.6?

New 2.6 doesnt't open also 2.5.5 files none of them, so beta 2,6 work yust fine, but last update doesn't, not my fault, I take from time machine Beta version and I start working in it

As has already been pointed out there is no Publisher 2.6, there is a Publisher beta 2.6.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

You are still ignoring the information already stated here many times that no version 2.6 has been released yet, only Beta 2.6 and production 2.5.6, which for obvious reasons cannot open files from Beta 2.6.

Alright, I wasn't paying attention to the version numbers during the upgrade, because I received the option to upgrade my version, which was already 2.5.6. I didn't notice the version number of the upgrade, which is now the same as before, with the only difference being that it no longer opens any documents created with version 2.5.6 or 2.5.5. So, the question is: why did I receive the automatic upgrade prompt if I already had that version, and why can't it open documents from 2.5.6? Let's disregard the documents from 2.6. I performed the upgrade, and all three applications were updated. I installed them and was under the impression that this was an upgrade to 2.6.

Your impression was wrong. There are no retail 2.6 versions yet, just the betas. So if you upgraded anything it was for the beta releases, not the retail ones.
