A small bug in all three beta versions (2.2.0.1986)

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

A small bug in all three beta versions (2.2.0.1986)
When I use the pen tool and want to change the stroke width with the slider, the stroke width values are not displayed.

Cheers

This is working correctly on macOS so possibly a Windows issue?

In the beta, on Windows 10, the value doesn't change as you move the slider on the context toolbar, it only updates when you release it. (Unlike in 2.1.1)

Confirmed.
It is the slider on the context tool bar that isn't working.
The slider in the strokepanel is working correct.
Mousewheeling on the fields does work though.

Hi @Gnobelix

Thanks for your report, I have passed this over to the devs for investigation.

I am currently Out of Office, please tag @Affinity Info Bot in your replies for another member of QA to see.

This happens in all the Current Beta (1986) apps, not just Publisher.

Oops, just re-read Gnobelix's post, and he reported all apps.

The issue "[Win] Stroke width value on context toolbar does not update whilst dragging slider" (REF: AF-68) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.1.2052".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
