Girlvsworld
Colour picker in publisher (as well as Designer and Photo in Publisher) does not work, colour is always white. The colour panel picker works fine. Moved this topic from questions to bugs!

walt.farrell
Works for me in Designer. I can tap, or I can click it and drag. Note that the magnifier is showing the color under my finger, or under the Apple Pencil, not the color that appears to be under the magnifier. The magnifier just shows what's under your finger/pencil. My recording just shows the click/drag method, not the tap. Here's one from me. Note that no matter what color is shown by the Color Picker, the color well in the Color Studio becomes or stays white. Staff Chris B Posted December 2, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 2, 2022 Try this: New doc Place a shape Rasterise the shape Display Layers Panel - make sure the shape layer is selected Colour Picker Tool - try both Global and Current layer Are you having an issue with that recipe? If not, it could be something to do with the type of placed image, Image Layer, bit depth, pasted image etc. etc. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Maybe that’s the issue? Unable to Rasterize a png placed image. 1. Here I exported from photo as png, then placed in Publisher. 2. used colour picker ( turned image black and white!). 3. undid colour picker and rasterised the layer. 4. used colour picker, image colour unaffected now, but selected colour shows as white. Staff EmT Posted December 5, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 5, 2022 Thanks I've now been able to recreate this, it only seems to occur on multipage documents. I've passed this over to the devs for investigation. walt.farrell and Chris B 2 Quote List of V2 FAQ's | Beta Software Forums | Affinity Photo (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Designer (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Publisher (V2) Tutorials

Staff EmT Posted December 7, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 7, 2022 @DM1 No worries, the document settings default to whatever settings were last used, so if you set your next document up with 1 page then it will continue to default to 1 page.
