For the avoidance of doubt, I share the expressed feelings of incredulity about this matter.

Rename was removed as it caused issues. (It only updated the Live Doc name, not the external file name).
Your only options are: 
1. to use three bar menu Save as to create a copy that you can name again or,
2. Save the LiveDoc externally (three bar menu/save). Close the live doc (this deletes the internal file so save first or lose your document). Open Files app, navigate to previously saved file, rename file. Open file again in Affinity (this creates a new icon and a new internal file.

It’s the old “ if you don’t tap the desired blend in the drop down menu it doesn’t stay selected when you change layers. Scrolling the menu to desired blend and exiting without tapping causes this to occur.
Easy to reproduce using a high pass live filter (in V2.04)

Sorry just catching up and saw your request here, I guess you have found out about adjusting the "Baseline" of the text to move it outside of the circle or vice versa.

Just to clarify by Project you are referring to the folder created by New Project? If so, my mistake. I was referring to saving files.
Unfortunately Project folders are limited in use to the Home Screen in the app. They cannot be exported or saved outside the app. 

A far better approach is to create suitably named Project folders with Files app either in iCloud or on your device. Your AP files can be saved directly into these folders. These can be backed up or moved to another device (unlike files held in the app itself). If you use the Open Document (rather than import Doc), you can navigate to the desired folder and open your file. When you save your work (3bar menu on Home Screen) the edits will be saved back to the folder.
 

I found it! It’s two menus deep, under an unlabeled arrow to the right of Bold, Italic, etc.
This one was my bad. Yesterday, every single little thing was down to a bug or poor design, so my nerves are sort of on a hair trigger and my default assumption has changed from “it’s probably me” to “it’s probably Affinity”.

Isn't Affinity Photo better for pixel art since it has a pixel grid and a pixel brush, seems odd using designer for this?

Anyway, it is a known issue that the PREVIEW option is just a rough and ready check and previews with an odd fixed DPI value, for this application just ignore it and export to file and it will export ok. In Navigator pixel view it will preview as pixels correctly.

It’s true that the iPads app features are lacking in several areas, but show me an alternative iPad app that can do everything, and that is in the same price range. At least the iPad honours those extra settings made in desktop file versions.
Instead of complaining about the shortcomings of the Export Persona on iPad (compared to desktop), perhaps you could make a feature request to have the desired additional settings added to those currently available on iPad. That would be more productive in the long run. 🙂
 

Thank you  That worked. It’s a bit finicky though. Can’t always get it to do it. Could be my dexterity issues though.

In addition to undo/redo buttons, you can do a two finger tap (undo) three finger tap (redo) anywhere on workscreen.🙂

The example provided states a verification message has been sent to the phone number. Messages sent to my phone can be read from my iPad . In Settings Messages I have both my email and phone number entered. I don’t recall needing access to my phone. Just needed to sign in with same Apple ID as used on phone.

To select the phone numbers and email addresses you want to use with iMessage, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, then choose from the available options below “You can receive iMessages to and reply from.”

Simply nest your adjustments like this. here are two curve adjustments, remember in Affinity you don’t have to add separate masks as live filter layers and adjustment layers are their own masks so as you can see here I have crudely painted in black and white onto the two curve adjustment masks.

Yes, by design. The Move tool snapping controls object snapping (toggles on/off with magnet controller top right. The Node tool (your example, has seperate node specific snapping options which are turned on/off in the node tools context menu.
Expectations? Different tools, different snapping features with different control options.

I see that no moderators have been involved in this topic so far. As it was originally a mix of questions, problems, and feature requests, that will cause some problems in responding to it properly.
For any actual problems (bugs) you still have, I suggest creating new topics, with one bug per topic, so they can get the proper attention they deserve.

Bug still unfixed in 2.0.4.
I found a much easier way to show bug:
new document (sRGB) add pixel layer add rectangle with large stroke, no fill select both layers use color panel / color studio to set colors in various color modes results:
RGB, HSL, LAB: ok CMYK: strong difference  GREY: difference in shadows up to ca. 18%, then identical. While observation is correct an reproducible, this could be an unrelated new bug.
i filed a new bug report for investigation.

I just offloaded an app at random, then reinstalled and no Verification code required.

Unfortunately there are still some significant bugs in version 2 but the developers are working hard to resolve them. If you have any issues be sure to post back to the forum.🙂

thanks for getting back!
while I was trying to record the issue I found out that DM1 was correct and has shown the „workaround“. It is a common problem in usage / workflow of affinity photo for iPad.
