I do not know if the subject will come up in the search function, but this topic of 'road maps/feature plan' has been explained and discussed by the forum moderators 'ad nauseam'. Why worry about v3 when v2 is currently being developed, improved and released? Lets give the developers a break.

The theme was metamorphosis, so I painted the city morphed into a fabulous drag queen, in the style of an Uber-kitsch religious painting (taking “Our Lady of Guadeloupe” as my main inspiration - Brighthelmstone is the old name for the city of Brighton).
Not understanding the above quoted statement, I think the creation was very well executed...I like it.

Previous to your suggestion to 'reset assets', I could not even import any assets. After the reset (version 2.04) the program is allowing me to import assets. Since I had quite a few this will take quite some time but I can deal with that, no problem, I have only added a couple so I am hoping I can add all of them back. Do you recommend that I add them in and then update to 2.1 or update first. I must tell you that since Affinity's inception, this is the first problem I have experienced. Thanks for your help.

Have been using 2.04 since its release and no problems. This afternoon, it launched but would not show any assets at all. Currently using Win10 current updates. Since I had already downloaded (but not installed) version 2.1, I decided to install it to see if that would correct the problem. It did not. Assets are still missing in version 2.1. Under accounts, it shows all the Assets and overlays that I had previously purchased but will not download/install them, shows error message that some could not be installed. Well, I uninstalled 2.1 and reinstalled 2.04 but I still have no assets and it will not download/install them. Can anyone help. Naturally I was working on a project. The last update to version 1 is installed and it shows all of my assets but this project was created in Version 2.04.

Above all, I would like to thank you for this reply to your user base. I am sure not all would agree with me, but you presented these issues in a timely and honest comment and I agree with all of your explanations. Having owned/operated a small business for 53 years dealing with the public I know for a fact you cannot please everyone. But your team has done an extraordinary job. You all should be pleased. Thanks.

My wife insisted that I download this and print out a whole sheet...she plans to stick them on my forehead 😄. She wanted me to thank you.

I just gave it a try and it gave awesome results. To be honest, I only had the time for one pic. Thanks for the gift.

@AdamStanislav , I, too, am saddened to hear of your misfortune. These are supposed to be our "golden years" but, alas, it doesn't always work that way. At least you are still here among us and didn't perish in the mishap. Be safe...be healthy.

I really don't understand the comment above. What is wrong with 'fixes'? I personally appreciate the fact that the developers are striving to provide a product with the fewest amount of bugs possible before moving on to another 'update/upgrade' that will inevitably introduce new issues.

Awesome tip. It makes your excellent assets even better. Thanks again.

Excuse my fascination with Hawaii but this was my first trip there. Again this was taken with an iPhone 13. Minor levels adjustment and clarity.
