  1. The full licence agreement is here https://affinity.serif.com/license The way I read it I'm correct, indeed the personal license is more generous than I suggested
  2. Sun Mystic, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :D What a lovely post, thanks. I am moving this to the feedback forum.
  3. cclinner, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) I am sure we can sort this out tomorrow when I'm in the office. Please Private Message me (top right of forums) as a reminder
  4. No special offer unless we start selling the mac version in our own store, as the Apple App Store is out of our control, and it's customers are unknown to the companies that are selling on it.
  5. Slimez, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) The licenses are independent so no, you need to by both independently.
  6. richard.k Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) If you haven't bought Affinity Designer for Windows (or the Workbook) then you will not have an Affinity Store account to buy with. The Affinity shop does not share account login with serif.com or these forums. Please type your email address and any password that you wish to create a new account on the Affinity Store.
  7. Yes, sorry about that, the programmers sneaked a whole new feature in this build! There was no time to get it localized in any language, so thank you for your suggestion.
  8. Niphotos, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) Glad you are enjoying it.
  9. zurichluck, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) This is possible to achieve in Affinity Designer, BUT I have to wonder what you are going to do with it, and by that I mean in what format are you going to share it? If this is just for you to reopen the file and enjoy panning round and zooming in then fine, but I'm not clear if you are expecting others to be able to do so, perhaps as a huge JPG file or on a website. If so then there may be export resolution considerations that cannot be avoided. It's the sort of thing that flash or silverlight would have helped with before they went be the wayside. Perhaps others have some experience that can guide you to an answer but first we need to know who your audience is and how they will see the results.
  10. This should not be a problem, as explained in your order email receipt, simply email affinityreturns@serif.com with your order number within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. If it has been longer than 14 days then I am sure our team can sort something out, perhaps a swap for Photo. (Note to other readers. If you purchased the Mac version, refunds are through the Apple App Store)
  11. In this post https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/30631-affinity-designer-151/
  12. Well, if it's definitive, not quite right. That screenshot has no ellipsis. The Windows standard is with an ellipsis.
  13. We do not have this format currently. One reason was to match the Mac functionality 1-2-1 where possible, and this is not available on Mac yet. Moving to Questions forum.
  14. You already can effectively do this https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/30759-clip-to-folder-is-essential/ I look forward to the sale. ;)
  15. Jbellini, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. :) Did you get the email titled "Affinity order confirmation Axxxxxxx" and does it have a button to download the software and another "freebies" next to it. That email is the only place to get the free content on Windows.
  16. Wayne Tucker, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :) Section 1 of the first post in the Designer tutorials thread https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/10815-in-house-affinity-designer-video-tutorials/
  17. Your general point is taken, but as we do not have a list of our Mac users, as they bought untraceably (quite right too) through the Apple App Store, then knowing who not to tell on a mailing list is occasionally tricky....
  18. jtl, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. :) We are not aware of this problem affecting the affinity software, do you have complex Affinity documents that do not print?
  19. I have replied to your email. I hope we can find the cause of this communication problem.
  20. We are pleased to announce the first update for Affinity Designer for Windows (version 1.5.1). The update is described here and can be downloaded from here. Once downloaded, close Affinity Designer and run (double click) the downloaded EXE to install it. To install this version you will need to have the Affinity Designer for Windows already installed OR you will need to type in your email address and a valid Product key when prompted. When installing on top of an existing version you will not be prompted for the product key. If you need it you can find your product key (and a download button) in your Affinity store account, where you will also find the email address used to generate the key when you ordered the software. If you have installed any previous beta version of Affinity Designer 1.5.0 or 1.5.1, it can be safely uninstalled before or after installing this release update, they are independent installs. The beta will stop working soon anyway. Please report any problems you have installing or using this new version in the Windows forum here Patrick Connor The Affinity Team
  21. Also you see that message because the files cannot be open in the Windows version and the mac version at the same time, though it sounds like this is not your case if Affinity Designer is not editing the files simultaneously.
  22. Gary, I split your post into the resources forum to avoid this gift being lost in a long thread.
  23. AAAARRGGHHH, (love it)
  24. Have you seen this in any applications. Do you specify characters (or sets) that have to be defined?
  25. The app should ignore the favourited fonts when searching imho
