Bo Lovenhjelm
I would like to be able to decide which border colors to use for both margins and bleeds. For instance, it would be nice to be able to have an orange border color for bleeds and a nice greyish border color for margins. Possible? marcorei, Eugene Tyson and wobmann
Staff MEB Posted September 7, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2018 Hi Bo Lovenhjelm, Welcome to Affinity Forums Currently that's not possible but it may be considered for a future update. Thanks for your feedback. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
StevieB
If it's not possible for the user to select the Bleed colour now could you please change it to something that contrasts with the grey background as it is difficult to see if you have a light mid-grey background! See attached screenshot. wobmann
Staff MEB Posted September 7, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2018 Hi StevieB, I will pass this to the dev team. Thanks for your feedback. You can change the background colour to increase the contrast as a workaround (Preferences, User Interface section Background Grey Level slider). StevieB
Thanks @MEB, I was just showing you that sometimes what works in default mode sometimes doesn't work when you change background colours. The Bleed should be visible on all backgrounds no matter where the grey slider is .
Staff MEB Posted September 7, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2018 Agree, that's why I've logged the issue. Changing the background colour was just a suggestion/workaround so you can kept working in case you were having trouble. Pebowski
+1 The same for me. At first sight I thought I have the old version, because I did not see the bleed. ;-I

In one of the latest beta versions custom colours for bleed and margin have been introduced. This should be available with the next release. d. Quote Affinity Suite on Windows (V2) and iPad (V2).
