Columns

Tell me, is it possible to break the page into columns? This is a very important function, but for some reason I did not find it.

Just add a text frame, select it and change number of columns in Text Frame panel (menu View -> Studio -> Text Frame).

Many thanks. But I think that the columns would be more convenient ...

I agree columns are a must for spacing and alignment not just for text but for aligning images

We also agree and page columns are on our roadmap for all the Affinity Apps.

Document column and text box column is pretty basic for a publication design software.

I agree - we need page columns. I divided a text box and added guides to substitute columns. Just looking now to see if I can lock guides.

I consider this a very important feature, too. Looking forward to see it in the next beta update

This is a must. I was trying to make a book layout but its impossible without this feature.

Page columns are already available in the current Beta. Go to menu View ▸ Guides Manager... (right side) to set them up.
