There is no crash report (%AppData%\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports\reports folder is empty).

Hi Mark, I understand that hardware acceleration won't work with older hardware. But I just tried Affinity Photo 1.9 beta at my office and it doesn't work at all. Splash screen shows up, after that main window (with no palletes and menus yet) opens and after few seconds it just quits. This PC is a relic, with i3-2100 and Radeon HD 7470, but there were no problems with previous versions. Both Designer and Publisher 1.9 beta run just fine. What could be the problem?

I thought that is why OpenGL and DirectDraw/Direct3D was invented, but I am not a programmer and my knowledge on that subjest is superficial. I really hope you will overcome difficulties, because I have tried radial blur on 100 MPix image myself and, well... it was not that impressive at all

This particular PDF file seem to lack large part of the header section. You can easily fix this by opening it in Adobe Acrobat Reader and saving it from there.

Affinity apps are licensed separately. Additionally, buying from Apple Store is buying from middleman and Serif has no info on your purchase. No refunds, no lincese changes etc. possible. I had the same "problem" a while ago (but the outher way round) and ended up buying another set of licenses.

I don't think it's possible. You bought directly from Serif (which is very OK IMHO), not from Apple. Don't worry though, you can always download and install Affinity Apps from Serif store: https://store.serif.com/account/

Just out of curiosity, if you happen to have such data and are willing to share: what is current Windows / Mac user-base ratio? BTW, does vector and photo persona finally work in Affinity Publisher after installing 1.7 betas?

Any ETA for Affinity Designer and Photo 1.7.x for Windows?
