You can convert text to curves at pdf export if you also want to maintain editability if desired.

That is, if you are nor also needing to manipulate the resulting curves.

By outline, do you mean apply a stroke, or convert to curves ?

Select the text you want by pressing Ctrl A or click on the text layer.

If you want to apply a stroke, just apply a stroke using the Stroke option on the context menu.

(it's at the far right, you might have to click on the "fast forward" arrow to find it)

To convert to curves. Just go Layer > Convert to Curves.

You will end up with a curve for EVERY letter, in a group layer.

The OP is asking for a solution in order to select all the text objects on a page at once, basically a sort of filter which is convenient when you have a lot of elements and text and maybe some of them even overlapping. The answer is, there's nothing like that in AD yet.

Something is planned for a future release like select by same color, same stroke and so on, not sure about text objects though, I don't remember if that's planned as well.

I am sure it will be mentioned in the change list of an update once the feature got implemented. If you follow a desired topic you will be informed as usual.

Not yet, too.
But in case of APub you currently have a little advantage for linked text frames, placed either on one or on various pages, that enables you to select all their text with 1 click.

Hello, is the select all text feature available in V2?

That is dependent upon what you mean by “the select all text feature”.

There are various similar but different things discussed in this thread.

If you can better specify what you want to select then we can tell you if the functionality exists.

In the meantime, you can, in V2, for example, select all Frame Text layers in the document by choosing menu “Select → Select Object → Frame Text” – see attached image.
