ChrisOmfH Posted January 7 Posted January 7 My space bar won't work when I enter text - if I hit it twice, I get a pop up that asks me if I want to save the document. I cannot for the life of me figure out what's going on - it's working fine as I type here! Hoping someone can be of help as this is stopping work on projects. Thank you in advance! Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 7 Posted January 7 What OS are you using, @ChrisOmfH? Are you using Artistic Text or Frame Text? Does it affect all documents, or one specific one? Have you restarted the application, and the OS? thomaso Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Mac or Windows? What Affinity version? – It sounds like the report below. Unfortunately, this OP hasn't responded again, so all we know is that his non-Apple keyboard may have been involved. Or maybe a reboot solved their issue? I also just noticed that the thread refers to Designer - I'm experiencing the issue in the Publisher. I found "a workaround" meaning that when spacebar stops working I need to manually put the cursor via LMB onto different section of the text and re-click it into the previous position to "unblock" spacebar. I don't have the time to record itbutitgoessomethinglikethis, thenIneedtoreclicksomewhere and it goes back to working again. I tried removing some spacebar shortcuts but there weren't any. Hilltop Posted March 24 Posted March 24 But now you can take preventive measures against such mishaps. I do feel your pain, though! Quote
