  1. Not sure what is up here, but AD v2 will not open any document, nor will it let me create a new one. 2019 MacBook Pro, just updated to the most current version of Ventura a couple of days ago. Tonight when I tried to work in AD v2 - NOTHING. Will not open a document saved on external drives, will not do anything except open the create new document screen. Once I click create, AD disappears from both my laptop screen & my secondary display monitor!
  2. First of all, thank you for replying/helping. After quite a bit of time online w/Apple Support this morning, I have been able to locate the files & delete them by dragging them to the trash - however, when I open Affinity Designer, boom, there the file is in "Open Recents" - as if I never deleted it & emptied the trash at all. How can it be that any & every project I start in Affinity seems to have to be kept permanently? There's GOT to be a way to get rid of some files/projects for good that I neither need, nor want to keep. Any help w/this would be appreciated!
  3. Just an update - I've been in an online chat w/Apple Support for an hour and a half - and they are not able to help me even find the files created in Affinity Designer. The files are saved in the app, but I cannot delete them, nor can I find them to do anything but work on them in the app!
  4. So far my Mac Finder will not/can not locate any Affinity Designer files at all!
  5. Hi - please forgive what I hope is a very elementary question, but I'm new to using graphic design programs & may have a few stupid questions. I'm trying to figure out how to delete an entire project/file from Affinity Designer & can't seem to do it!
  6. Thank you - my next question would then be, how do I get rid of - as in delete for good, the files that I don't want to keep?
  7. Hi, my question is going to be very elementary, but I suppose that can happen when one is a beginner - and I'm certainly that. I'm trying various things in Affinity Designer & when I go to close the program & I get the prompt to save or not save, even if I click don't save, the project is there for me to open the next time I open the program. I don't want to save everything I'm using to experiment/learn the program with - can someone please shed some light on this? Thank you.
