I'm not eligible to order Affinity Suite V2 for £29 as affinity V1 license holder in promo period. I'm really disappointing.

On 23rd of October 2024 when I open my Affinity Photo V1, In the welcome page  It shows me I can purchase V2 license for £29. As i already have V1 and V2 license I wasn't in hurry because it shows me offer ended in 30th of October 2024. I just bookmark the link to use it later. As today is the last day I wanted to order and I tried to checkout with my existing Affinity account and new account (created due to discount code error) but unfortunately I was keep getting an The voucher code used does not exist. error in the checkout page after enter paypal/card details. I can't understand why the discount is not working for me.

Is that mean I'm not eligible for this offer as a honest affinity customer who has V1 and V2 license?

Please help me.

Email affinity@serif.com and explain it to them there, where they can check email addresses to verify whether the offer applies to you.

I'm a bit puzzled why someone who already has v2 would want to take up this offer, (or, come to that, why they are eligible for it!)

Because it was showing on the welcome page. Affinity needs to treat well for existing customers. If Affinity gave discount, it should be applied to all existing customers. I paid £89 when V2 was lunched. It is a bargain to get another license less than half price. I can use it on another PC.

I know it. But I need another license for another PC which is use by my friend remotely.

I think this promotion was for V1 owners who, despite V2 being out for almost 2 years, haven't yet decided to upgrade. This is not a promotion for V2 owners to buy an additional license for pennies.

Serif should be more transparent in this promotion. It seems that it was poorly managed if a post like yours appears.

I don't buy license for someone else. I'm buying it for myself and use it on my PC but who uses it from remote location because I need to keep my content in my PC.

If they targeted V1 users who are not yet upgraded to V2 then they should filter those users and send promo email quietly. They should not have displayed the banner in the V1 welcome page. There are only 3 type of users. One type has only V1 license or others has V1/V2 both license or only V2 license.

Irrespective of the level of honesty of a person, the offer was exclusive to Affinity users who only own V1, to purchase for their own use, a V2 Universal Licence.

The offer was removed from the welcome screen when it's deliver method was shared to global "discount" websites which anyone with internet access could access the offer.

As a V2 Universal Licence owner you would not be able to have redeemed this offer for a V2 Universal Licence.

Thank you for your clarification. So I'm not eligible for the offer. Anyway it would be great if you enabled this offer for everyone who already have Affinity V1 license regardless of V2. Everyone will be happy then.
