You nailed it. Serif needs to dump Braintree and go with a reliable payment gateway. I can't understand Serif management still did nothing about it. They should have a backup payment gateway if one fails. But sadly they haven't got any. -

Don't worry your money won't go anywhere because Serif didn't accept your payment due to Braintree issue. Bank will revert the transaction. You just need to purchase it again with Visa card or PayPal. -

That's how bank works. Whey you paid something online bank will reserve that money until the transaction complete. If the merchant didn't accept your payment bank will release the hold and money will be available back to you. It takes couple of days to continue. I think there is a issue with Braintree payment gateway. Why don't you try with Visa or PayPal. -

As I heard offer will continue until next month but Serif will send out email before it's over. Why don't you try with PayPal instead. I purchased V2 Universal license couple of days ago without any issue. If you have visa card just try with it as I heard Braintree got a issue with Mastercard transactions 🆗 -

Doesn't it link automatically once you link it to one software. In windows I just install Affinity photo v2 and login to my serif account. Then I install other two software and it didn't ask for login detail. It just activated automatically. I have no idea how it works in Mac. I guess there won't be any difference. I think you need to quit the all running Affinity software and end all running processors belongs to affinity (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201276). Relaunch and start again.

Just purchase Personal if you need it yourself. You can install in on as many as your devices from single license. Even you can install it on your family members computers (Same household I guess). You can use it for commercial purpose too. In Business license, each license belongs to one person and he/she can install his/her all devices. You can't share it with other users on the same team. In business license each individuals need to have a own license. -
Yes once you purchased the V2 license and installed Affinity products, you need to just login to your serif account using your username and password. Your Affinity software will be link to your Account. Affinity v2 license doesn't have a product key instead it directly activate online as same as if you purchased Microsoft windows 11 from Microsoft and how it activates.

Hi I just purchased Affinity V2 universal license from Serif store to support them. Previously I have purchased Affinity V1 all three products to support them. I'm not a graphic designer. I never used Affinity Publisher V1 yet. I have used Affinity Designer and Photo for some light work but not much really. This time I just bought Affinity V2 universal license because I'm helping Serif as well as it is a great deal too. I really like if Serif offered 50% discount for loyal customers and 40% discount for new customers. 10% extra discount isn't a big deal but It shows Affinity respect their loyal customers. I know Serif already paid off more than we paid by just keep updating Affinity V1 software's for long time. But It really nice if serif can patch existing bugs in V1 without abandoning it completely. Then whoever doesn't want to upgrade have a bug free software. I just installed Affinity Photo. Designer and Publisher. It looks amazing and mainly it loads very fast. It loads way faster than V1. Thank you for your great products. I really appreciate your effort of giving us a excellent software for fragment of cost of Adobe subscription. Adobe is simply rip off. If anybody bought Affinity V2 for helping Serif then please comment your thoughts here. Thank you.

V1 is already dumped by Affinity. So you won't get any updates or bug fixes. If you purchase v2 you will get updates and bug fixes for v2. So there isn't any upgrade program for existing customers. Affinity treats same for both old and new customers. In Affinity we are a new customer in their every major release. That is sad. -

1) How about opening v2 files in V1 a with warning of missing items. I hope still we can open V1 files in V2. 2) I didn't get it. V2 isn't the new version of Affinity suite. So it should be a bug fix version of V1. How it's possible to break something in V2 that works in V1. 3) I don't think V2 has much difference when we compare with v1. It has new look and new features. Still 99% tools are same as affinity V1 4) Alright. Everybody needs to adopt to new V2. What's point of following V1 tutorials in V2 unless it's a same tool. 5) I guess both V1 and v2 system requirements are same. It support only windows 10 and 11. -

That's really frustration. Affinity has to give discounted v2 upgrade process for V1 license. Once we upgrade we have only V2 license. Anyway what's the point of having separate v1 license without new patches or feature? I really didn't get it. -
