but it just keeps on drawing a straight line from the last point of touch

You would need to click and release the mouse in order to stop drawing a line.

After that you would need to start the same routine again. I think that once you get it it will make sense.

I know the video can't show everything.

Please let us know how you are getting on. :)

Unfortunately, I have tried my best but I cannot seem to make it work, as much as I try! :42_confused:

I wonder if it is a matter of setting or some detail.. Though, AP Help manual does not seem to mention it either:

Not sure if it works with all, but certainly with most of them - why not try it? ;)

Add me to the list of proponents. Also, this should be a high-level feature that should/could be applied to other types of tools For example, I have often run into the problem of using the Select Tool and wanting to follow a straight line to create an "edge" of the selection. Now it is very tedious and fraught with errors and problems. This would be incredibly useful for those times you need it. This would also be useful for the Clone tool - moving in a straight line when needed, etc., etc.

Often when masking using the Selection Brush tool I need for a straight line to mask things properly, especially text. Is this feature available for the same kind of situation?
