  1. This brings me memories when TheaRender was bought by Altair, they said the same exact words... at the end they killed many software support and stayed with two only out of 5 (I think). Or when old adobe's CEO became C4D's CEO and the software went down the drain into a subscription model only.

I think Photoline will be the only one standing up.

Single click for a normal mask, long click for drop-down menu

Would that work for those users that prefer the "old" way?

I agree up to some degree. I mean, for some people like me who suffers of carpal tunnel, long clicks put more strees in the wrist. But following your idea, what if right click on the mask icon is what invokes the drop-down menu?

Are .exr files RAW files? I didn't think they were, and this function applies only to RAW files.

When you Open the file, do you end up in the Photo Persona or the Develop Persona?

Afaik a exr is not a raw format, I end up in Photo.

It is funny, that we can use any image in Develop Persona, but we cannot keep it non-destructive. If this is a very confusing feature. 😭

I  recieve some designs, in dxf format, be intrested to know how others prepare thier DXF files for import into Affinity Designer. It would be nice if Affinity Designer was able to read in a DXF file export from Autocad or other applications that produce them.  Also if a DWG file could be imported, though I understand that there maybe licensing issues for DWG.

I open DXF in PhotoLine and save it in some other format that Designer can open.
