  2. Whoooow very scary to wait until then. More votes please, more votes !
  3. @BrianHermelijn are you creating all this with Affinity products ? if Yes, then ... no other word than : Great Job Bro !
  4. Voted! Actual status of votes is attached. More users and people's should vote. We stand with you guys!
  5. @Mark Ingram i want to bring one detail here about that CPU usage. don't know about others but on my Mac (Core2Duo, 8GB RAM - 500Gb HDD - High Sierra 10.13.3) i have noticed the following to get Affinity work very well: 1- Remove Firefox (keep safari only) 2- Remove Photoshop and all installed third party stuffs 3- Remove Adobe Muse After doing that, the not only CPU usage dropped a bit but also RAM occupation. i believe it has something to do with shared libraries or plugins that naturally occurs on O.S (both Windows and MacOS) I'm not saying t
  6. Hi @christopherrestall Nice, really nice. i mind read what other have to say but for me i believe there are missing things such as the impression layers that we can see in the official logo but also when you look at Designer logo it's more about a Pen drawing a line from outside the canvas. i believe, you should consider to bring some superposition that will help others to make distinction between the different layers that characterizes the Affinity Logo. ... But good work ! ... Thumb's up for this flat logo design work !
  7. Never be the Same Again !

  8. Hi @Chris Van Cleve thank you so much for sharing this resource. Very useful
  9. hi @MEB i was also thinking about the same thing. See attached picture as it more talking then I. Nice job you guys are doing.
  10. Got almost the same thing on Mac. Affinity uses less Ram than other tools of the same nature but uses a lot CPU. So I have to keep Photo, browser and other software I may need closed if I want to enjoy ADesigner. Then sometime it's just work no problem. A fix to this?
  11. Yes you are right. i'm still learning and have used Ai and PS but never figured out the thing about masks but (i don't know if it's by preference) i found it easy to understand and to apply using affinity (photo and Designer) ... yet i'm to master the thing and make better design/photo works ... but on the other hand it would be nice if the Dev's can take that idea in consideration to improve the already existing tools. Also, it's so easy to remove background/objects using Affinity softwares so... tools improvement would be very nice for everyone.
  12. Hello everyone Was browsing the forum and found this. Few days ago, an announcement which ressemble to the death of Adobe Muse CC. Now, it's official Non-Coders are orphan. I'm not sure if Serif have targeted to heal the caused pain but it would be a great idea. Please dear Dev's, don't take this too serious and consider that I personally trust your work and I believe you have nice ideas for the release of a new breath into the creative world.
  13. No problem, at least it's pasted here, maybe in coming releases we shall see it and enjoy
  14. @Fatih19 got it from a small software which i think it's not important to name without being authorized by Affinitiy's admin and dev as we are not to compare Affinity products with others but help make them better. I chose to share just the functionality because i found very useful and helpful when we work on project with a lot of imagines that we need to mirror or display with reflection. Hope this helps !
  15. Hello Dev's Don't know something was said about but i want to know if the effect "Reflection" will be introduced with ADesigner 1.7 and/or next release of Photo. in fact, it's good to manually do reflection when we work on project but it's can be time consuming to make manual "reflection" effect. it would be great if Affinity Softwares would propose that by default, then we would just tune it by adjusting values to fit with what we are really looking for. i have attached an idea of what i'm talking about to help.
  16. @dominik Whoow so nice what you brought. Really appreciate that, will try it with my next project and revert. So nice to you around.
  17. Dear @Dominic yes I have looked at the symbols and they are very good and even helped me to move very fast with my last design and even the idea of meshing, dynamic components inside the project was birth out of many issues I faced with the symbols. I then tough of a way to make it better using dynamic objects directly embossed in the master document and synced between all connected Artboard. Very similar with network router tables and the way they update one another. At this stage... Why not synch other stuffs too. May just be considered as the improvement of the alre
  18. Yes you are right @MikeW but remember that sometime we find it fun to have more than one computer for production and just switch from one to another so, one more time Serif did a great thing by just making it easy for us. my case, i use one PC for Photo because image can be resources consuming when we go to a lot of layer and mask etc... just save it on the network drive and place easily place it on the Designer laptop to continu my job but... this is just me i hope no one is doing the same here
  19. @MoreK i love your idea, really made me laugh out loud. Serif is really re-connecting the Design and Photo world and teaching something important to other softwares out there: Alone we Go Fast but together we Go Far !
  20. Hi @Oval thank you for your inputs. Really appreciate.
  21. Hi @Ben and @MEB i have a question here, maybe someone asked about it but i will take it and ask. Will ADesigner include some sort of meshing functionality in coming release? Okay ! sounds crazy said like that. Let say i start a Design project after i have defined everything (gabarit etc.) on paper; my work on this dynamic design concept would start by creating/selecting what i call a "master artboard" of a certains size, say Poster A3 (Yes would be great if we can have that functionality), next i would create what can be called "slave artboard" of another size say F
  22. Hi Ben Really need to thank you for the big work you are doing with affinity ... but now ... i can't sit on my chair anymore since i've watched the short videos of the snapping. i just know we will do crazy things with Affinity Designer 1.7 when it's released. ... You made me go crazy saying Whoooooow every 5min and thinking what kind of crazy stuff i will do with ADesigner 1.7 when it's released.
  23. Hi Ben would like to know more about the shape creation tool you have mentioned here. My experience, I've found it better to work with Designer pen tool than what other software, I tried with others but ended hating the pen but now Adesigner made it possible again.
  24. Who will... Will try that one when I'm back working. Never thought about the assets panel. Thank you reminous
