It looks as though it's failing to translate the text to Chinese. I'm guessing it should say something like 2 个对象

Try set Stroke to zero, and use fx Outline.

Inner shadows (or outer shadows) start at the very edge of the object. If there is a stroke this is included. If there is no fill then there are two outside edges that it comes from. The only way to separate them is to separate the stroke from the filled object.

Inner shadows start with object border. If stroke and inner shadows is in collision, set stroke as Outside.

It looks like, in .11 the Create artboard flag is On by default. Even if you deselect it, it will be On again the next time you create a new document. For me it means that doing a Cmd+N + Enter is no longer enough to create a new document (I now often have to close the new document and try again).
I've tried by creating a new Preset, but this doesn't solve anything (you have to first select Type = Presets and than the actual preset you just created).
I don't see this as in improvement. It would be if AD remembered the things you had checked/unchecked.
Or, am I missing something?

I've noticed that too. If you open and choose a preset document the Create artboard is checked off, but if you want to make exactly the same document and go to create new, the create artboard is on...

They usually wait until the dust settles from people complaining about crashes and such on the forum before they put the new version out for the self-update feature.

I must admit that having joined the beta project some years ago, I did not geet around to installing it then. I have just tried installing (successfully) but as I should have expected I was told that it had expired!
I have been writing software for halt a century and have a graphic-designer wife. As packages such as Corel, Inkscape and such develop, the added features have become an encumbrance! I am now keen to try out Affinity and see if you have fallen into the same errors.
Serif Drawplus looked hopeful, despit its chalky default brush. But now, with a grandiose Surface Studio, instead of drawing on the 'paper' the brush just moves it around.
I hope that the app store offers a 'try before you buy' option or it will join a host of unused applications!
If it fits the bill, the price will be no problem - after Corel's bonanze from Windows 10 making all previous versions unworkable. But I still expect that you will see numerous posts of 'helpful' suggestions!

Welcome to Affinity Forums
Have you downloaded the latest Beta from the top of this thread? This one hasn't expired yet but you must have the retail version installed to be able to run it (this is a Customer Beta not a Public Beta as when we start/launched the app initially a couple years ago before its official release. If you don't have bought the retail version, there is a trial available on our website you can test/try.
Please consider changing your forum username to something else to prevent spammers from getting/harvesting your e-mail.
