Ouch. Do hope they're working on something to have a quicker crop option, since it is vital in many design scenarios, instead of relaying on turning things into an art board just so to crop the canvas or do the guess work with document setup....

In any given programs there is the ability to crop the canvas, however in Affinity Designer you have to go all the way to the Document Setup and do the guess work if you're cropping at a specific size.
 
Is there any possible ways to crop the canvas on the canvas itself, like in Photoshop or Illustrator you can just resize the canvas with the artboard tool, however that doesn't seems to be the case in Affinity Designer, unless I am missing something here.

Windows touchpad doesn't offer support for rotation as on macOS so it will not be possible to use it for this purpose but we are looking into ways to improve things here (freely rotate the canvas) for both macOS and Windows users (besides the touchpad). I can't give you an eta though, sorry.

Jeepers. I usually say it's been a while, but boy, has it been a while since I posted anything.....
Anyhoo, I thought I'd continue to add to my menagerie o' misfits, my collection o' cartoon creatures with this entry.... eejitus unoccupiedium A vacant creature who may switch on a engaging idea once in a while!

Simplicity is the key. Good stuff. Was about to ask if you also do pixel art/voxels, then googled your name
and found some other stuff.
