dke got a reaction from daklakfoto in Focus point support in future release?
I can confirm the problem for nef files of my D7200. Show AF Focus is always greyed out in the latest beta and in the latest productive version too.

dke got a reaction from Patrick Connor in Colour profile conversion for DxO plugins - beta 1.8.0.486
With the free Google Nik plugin Viveza 2 I need 100% zoom to get correct colors for 16-bit tiff files. For 8-bit tiff files and jpeg files 33% zoom are sufficient to get correct colors.

    Hi Chris,
the problem has nothing to do with bit depth.
In Affinity Photo you can use Skylum Aurora 2019 to create single shot HDR images from 16-bit or 8-bit images.
It is a very useful plugin because it is very easy to get great results with Aurora.
When you try to start Aurora 2019 in beta 1.7.0.367 nothing happens not even with small jpeg files as input. You see a plugin entry in the protocol and that is all.

dke got a reaction from PetervL in Skylum Photolemur 3 now non op
    @pefunk: Thanks for the information.
It would be fine to have an 'export to external editor' option like in On1 Photo Raw in Affinita Photo too.
    I made a feature request: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/86103-affinity-photo-should-allow-to-export-images-to-external-editors/&tab=comments#comment-455729

dke got a reaction from PetervL in Affinity Photo should allow to export images to external editors
Many Photoshop plugins do not work correctly in Affinita Photo. With an option to send files from Affinity Photo to other external editors we could work around  problems with standalone working plugins very comfortable.

dke got a reaction from Chris B in HSL doesn't work in beta 1.7.0.284
I tried different images (jpg and tiff) from different cameras and softwares. The problem is not image specific. As soon as I try to use HSL beta 1.7.0.284 freezes and doesn't respond. Even when I develop a raw image in beta 1.7.0.284 and click on HSL afterwards AP freezes.

dke got a reaction from altae in Shadows / Highlights Filter does not work
The Highlights Strength slider has no effect in the 'normal' Shadows /Highlights filter and in the live filter. In the live filter there is a strange preview (see attached image). My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

dke got a reaction from mykee in HDRProjects 5 plugin
    Hi mykee,
I suppose that only plugins with format 8bf can work with Affinity Photo. Black and White Projects 5 works in AP with the plugin from the CC folder. Older versions of Black & White Projects don't work as a plugin in Affinity Photo.  To test if a plugin works in AP, just copy its folder somewhere on your disk, add the path of this folder in AP's Photoshop Plugins configuration, allow there the usage of unknown plugins and restart AP.

Franzis HDR Projects Professional 2018 is already working as a plugin in the latest Windows Beta 1.6.3.103 to create a single shot HDR from a single image. It would be fine if the Affinity Photo developers could implement the possibility to load a sequence of different exposures into the plugin.

dke got a reaction from curio in VIVEZA OK
In the release version Viveza has correct colors with 8-bit sRGB for me only when I use 33%, 50% or 100% preview size inside Viveza.
When I see the full image in Viveza it is desaturated.
With 16-bit sRGB files I have correct colors in Viveza only when I set the preview size in Viveza to 100%.
