    With the shape selected click on any of the 9 points under "Transform". Then you will see an indicator (like a target) appear in your shape. Move it anywhere with your mouse, even way outside of the shape... this is the anchor point for the rotation.

    Did the test again this morning (with Hang_text1.afpub) .... Surprise ! It created and filled the new pages in about 30 seconds, maybe less, 1819 pages total. It took just a few seconds more to finish updating the pages thumbnails. So, in about one minute the whole process was over and I could keep working. I then saved the file.... another surprise.... Publisher shut down itself with no error window or anything else. But the file has been saved. I reopened the file, it took a few seconds to load and everything was fine. Save the document under another name and it took a few seconds and I was back to work, no shut down. Why it wasn't working yesterday.... waiting for the answer...

    I downloaded and tried your file. Task Manager shows: Affinity Publiser uses around 12% CPU time It shows "Not responding" And "crashpad_handler.exe" is present right under it but doesn't show any activity. I waited 5 minutes and gave up, terminated Publisher using Task Manager.

    In the Develop personna there are three buttons for clipped shadows, highlights and tones at the upper right of the toolbar. But I can't find any similar option in the Photo personna.

    Did some new tests with raw files from Canon 80D, 70D and a few M43. If I use the crop tool with a ratio of 3:2 (6:4) don't move the mouse and click Apply. When exporting I always get 3000 if I enter 2000 in the height box. Entering 3000 in the width box gives 2000 exactly in the height box. This is with whatever file from any camera or any other images. I think we loose precision if we resize with the mouse.

    I tried to replicate this problem with your picture but when I enter 2000 px in the secoond box and press Tab I got 3000 px in the first box. I shut down Photo and reopened the file. This time I get 2999. Can't explain why...

    I see the same thing when no text is selected. If the text is selected it seems to work fine, Maybe it's by design....

    You still can download them, but cannot use "Save" or "Save as".

    I tested your file and did not have any problem with any pdf export formats.

    I can't get it to work on Win 10. I added the same line as shown above. Then when I select a Studio filter it says "Error: launch plug-in failure." and an OK button. Once "OK" is clicked the usual "You are using a Topaz Labs plug-in...." window pops up and Photo is frozen. I have to use Task Manager to stop Photo. This is with Beta .424

    Nice work. I'll be in Vienna next month... what about a map for this city before I get there . It would be nice if a "light opacity" image of the city was over it. It would show wich station to get off (or on) for different places or important places to see in the city. But don't worry.... I'll be there anyway.

    As I mentionned above, the workaround I found till it's fixed is to create two pixel layers and use the clone tool on the top most layer set to current and below.

    I think that this is a rendering problem, if you zoom in it disappear. And will not be visible when you print ou export your image.

    If you're really seriously fed up ..... just use Inscape, Scribus, Gimp and enjoy them, but stop crying and stop whinning. There.... I will probably get another warning point.... but reading post like yours.... I'd rather be thrown out of the forum than saying nothing.

    Also the same bug wth beta .424 here too. And I have cleaned everything as mentionned above. If I create two layers above the image and use the clone tool on the upper one set to current layer and below it does't crash. As soon as the middle empty layer is removed, subsequent use of the clone tool crashes Photo.

    Can't you see that this Vlars is from the dark "pay for the rest of you life" side .... Three posts and just whinning about features not there .... I agree that everybody has the right to express themself... but this kind of account should be closed... before I get another Warning point.

    I quit Adobe a little more that a year ago. When I take just a few pictures Photo does the job for RAW editing. But when I came back with a few hundred RAW pictures I was missing LR. I went to On1 RAW 2019. Not perfect but batch editing is much easier and faster. And you pay once.

    Why don't we see the original poster anymore.... I'm wary of those "come and go" posters with one or two posts about something that Wadobe can do but not Affinity.... they could be from the dark side.

    I don't have this problem with either Designer or Photo. Zoom to 400 or 800% and no lag at all. 1.7 retail or beta. But this is with a dedicated graphic card.
