I'm making isometric illustrations for quite a while now. I used to make them in Photoshop/Illustrator, but since Affinity introduced Isometric grids my life got way easier.
The idea is to make some screenprints of these illustrations someday (hence the limited colorpalette).
I really look forward to hear what you think about them!

I'm longing for warmer weather, browsing my catalog.
Sometime I get inspired and reuse the pictures.
This was made by detecting edges and converting that layer to black and white.
Adding a copy of the back ground layer; blending mode average
Adding a white fill layer with a mask.
I used textured brushes amongst others, painting on the masks.
Oh.. and a blured layer.
Please don't ask, not sure I remember it all. ;)

Added a screenshot (Affinity Photo Workspace) in "butterfly wings", tribute to Audrey Hepburn.
I love this actress. She was so petite and delicate, but also strong, and she had a lot of power. Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my favorite films, and of course I also love the cat (scenes) in the movie;-)
